Today is: 4/17/2018

So, what bad things happened today, Max?

My friend was bummed out, and I didn't know how to help her. My best friend, on the other hand, had to go home early because she was sick. They both worry me so much. My nose is also runny, know what that means? It means that my head is going to hurt for at least a week! Yay! Actually, it's hurting right now, so ill get this over with.

And what is our happy thought for today?

I've got the:
MAGIC.

It may not be real, but magic has always been a big part of my life. As I've mentioned, I became a book worm at a young age. Most of the books I read are fictional. Stories that include mages and dragons and unicorns have always been my style.

I guess that's why I got hooked into the Harry Potter series. Actually, most of the books that I read involve magic. Books that I would like to write have magic in them, too.

I wish waving a magic wand would make everything better. (Makes everything cooler.) Summoning food from the depths of who knows where, wouldn't that be great? Humans seem to do so many incredible things, yet, they're hardly ever impressive anymore.

However, there are dangers when using magic. Evil people are smarter than your normal hero. Luckily, fictional stories normally end with happy endings.

Probably the most magical part of any story: happy endings. Having something turn out well is magical enough in itself. Oftentimes, things go wrong, and everyone is sad (except for the villain). But in happy endings, everyone is happy (EXCEPT VILLIAN).

Okay, okay, my head is starting to kill me. My advice is: be a magician in reality. You don't need to wave a wand or chant words to be magical. You're your own you, shouldn't that be magical enough?
