From The Leader's throne room, Gunther saw one of his soldiers -- he couldn't tell who -- climb the wall around Vermville and spend quite some time there before climbing out and going back to duty.
"What are you looking at?" The Leader asked from his throne.
"Just one of my misbehaving men," Gunther said with a chuckle. "He just went into Vermville and came out again."
"Do you know who it is?" asked The Leader's adviser, Luther.
"Mmmm..."
"Um, is that a yes or a no?" Luther said.
"It's neither. It's a maybe."
There was a moment of silence before Luther said, "Sounds like you need to keep better track of your soldiers, Mr. Gunther."
"Is this your line of work, Luther?" Gunther turned from the window to face him. "I'm in charge of keeping my soldiers in line. You're in charge of advising The Leader. Let's keep it that way."
"All right," said Luther. "Leader, I advise you to fire Gunther."
The Leader chuckled. "Ha, ha, I'm afraid not." There was a pause. "You both may go now," he said, impatient to get on with his day.
