Taylor Swift sat alone in her new house in Vancouver, Canada.
She had a fire lit in the fireplace, and the living room smelled of burning wood. She liked the smell, it reminded her of when she was a little kid who lived in Pennsylvania, on a Christmas tree farm.
The blonde woman sat on her soft, relatively new couch, a purring Olivia on her lap.
Her cats had adjusted to Vancouver well, but it took her a little more time.
She was on the phone with her brother, Austin, who was currently filming a movie called Cover Versions. "C'mon Tay! Come visit us!" He said over the phone.
She chuckled. "I'll see if I can find time." She heard a woman reciting her lines from his side of the line, then there was a shriek, and someone cackling with laughter.
"I'm sorry," Austin says, "Jerry and Drake just threw water balloons at Katie." Taylor chuckled again as she heard Katie shouting in the background.
Taylor didn't have the chance to meet the eccentric Arrow actress.
She knew who she was of course, considering she was quite popular in pop culture.
Taylor stayed on the phone with Austin for a good fifteen minutes, and he was telling her they were wrapping up the production of Cover Versions, and he invited her to come to the premiere when it came out on digital.
She had gladly accepted his invitation, and told him she was proud of him.
She decided to go into town, and explore her new surroundings.
The air was cold in Vancouver, and she pulled on a sweater.
The material was soft, and it was her favorite sweater that her mother had gotten her for her twenty-seventh birthday.
She walked past the building where Arrow, the Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supernatural were filmed.
She had gotten in contact with Caity Lotz, who was the leading lady of Legends of Tomorrow. Caity had invited her to see the set, and Taylor walked inside, but was stopped by security. "Hold up." A guard said, blocking her way.
"I was invited here."
"Do you have an ID?" Taylor pulled out her driver's license, and showed it to him.
"She's with me!" Caity Lotz, a small blonde woman with more freckles than Taylor could count, jogged up. She was wearing her White Canary suit, and she crossed her arms over her chest.
"Sorry, Miss Lotz." The guard said. "You may go, Miss Swift."
Taylor smiled. "Thank you." She followed Caity through the building.
"I'm sorry about that." Caity said, rolling her eyes.
"It's okay." Taylor smiled.
"How are you settling into Vancouver?"
"It's nice." Caity grinned. Taylor raised her eyebrow. "You look quite badass." Caity chuckled.
"Thank you." Taylor smiled at her.
Caity was half a head shorter than Taylor, who awkwardly smiled at Caity as she looked down at her to talk to her. It was uncomfortable because Caity, jokingly, emphasized the height difference between them.
She would look fully up, and raise her voice a little.
Taylor would just shake her head, and keep walking.
After the tour, Taylor was walking to a small café. When she got inside, she sat down, and the waitress took her order, after squealing about how Taylor Swift was her customer, and walked back into the kitchen.
She ate quietly, checking her social media, and seeing what her fans were up to. She laughed at some of the captions on Instagram, appreciating her fan's sense of humor.
When she got home, she laid down in her bed, her eyelids drooping. Olivia jumped on her chest, meowing. "Hey Dibbles." Taylor yawned, and fell asleep.
