Taylor was back home in Vancouver, and her thoughts clouded her mind.

As expected, there were headlines and articles about Katie and Taylor from the night of the Cover Versions premiere.

That didn't surprise her whatsoever.

She clutched her phone in her hand, waiting for a text or call from Katie or Chris.

Or Chris...

It was noon when she received a text. It was from Katie:

Hey I'm on my lunch break. Do you want to go get something?

Taylor was bored out of her mind, so she figured that it would be good to get out of the house.

Sure. Meet me at my house.

Katie responded almost instantly.

Okay. See you then.

It took Katie a half an hour to get to Taylor's house. When Katie knocked on her door, Taylor opened it widely.

Katie had cuts and bruises on her face, and Taylor looked at her, alarmed. "What the hell happened to you?"

"It's makeup, Tay." Katie grinned. "I'm filming Arrow remember?"

"Yeah, but still." Taylor said. "That scared me."

"I'm glad to know I have a friend who cares." Katie replied. "Let's go to lunch."

They both decided that it was nice enough to walk, and they walked to the nearest diner.

When the two of them sat down, when someone passed by them, Taylor and Katie got strange looks like the person passed by.

Some people stopped, and asked them both questions.

They both got sandwiches because Taylor wasn't too hungry, and Katie had to go back to work.

Taylor took a bite out of her sandwich, and ate it slowly. "How's filming?" She asked.

"It's great. Sometimes it's a pain in the ass, but I love it." Katie said, taking a sip out of her iced tea. "Did you ever hear from him?"

Taylor knew she was talking about Chris. He didn't call her or text her yet, and it was killing her. "Uh... no, not yet."

Her friend nodded. "You will."

"I hope so." Taylor said, sighing.
