Chris was right.
Comic Con was crazy.
She got special access because she was with Chris, so she tried her best to avoid all the crowds.
Taylor loved people, of course. She was a social butterfly, and was good at making friends.
But seeing a bunch of people wearing eccentric costumes was another story.
She had seen a bunch of girls dressed as the Black Canary.
It warmed her heart to see that people did love Katie's character.
She had seen guys dressed as Captain America, the Green Arrow, Hawkeye, Speedy, the Joker, and many other iconic superheroes and villains.
The first thing that Chris had to do was go to the Avengers panel.
Taylor took a seat toward the back of the hall, and was sitting shoulder to shoulder with this girl who turned to her and said, "Holy shit! You're Taylor Swift!"
"Yeah." Taylor replied, and smiled.
"What're you doing here?" The girl asked.
"I'm here to support Chris." Taylor murmured.
"Are you two together?" The girl asked.
No, but I wish. Taylor thought to herself.
"No-no, we're just friends."
Just friends...
"Ah. You two would make a cute couple." Taylor raised her eyebrows.
"Wait-really?"
"Hell yes. There's a whole fandom dedicated to you two."
"Seriously?" Taylor was shocked.
"Yeah, the Christay fandom has risen."
"Oh, wow." Taylor was speechless.
People actually like the thought of Chris and I together?
"Yeah!" The girl said.
"Can I ask what your name is?"
"Autumn." The girl replied.
"Well, Autumn, thank you for informing me."
"Any time." Autumn said.
Taylor watched the panel, and listened for people to ask if her and Chris were together.
It happened.
A boy had gotten up to the microphone, and said, "This question is for Chris."
Chris grinned. "Shoot."
The boy continued. "Is it true that you and Taylor Swift are dating?"
Taylor blushed. Chris awkwardly smiled. "Taylor's a really nice girl, but I don't see her in a romantic way. I only see her as a friend."
That broke Taylor's heart.
She had not been expecting that.
She had these feelings for him that she wanted to tell him, and he didn't feel the same way.
It felt like someone ripped out her heart, and stomped on it.
Tears brimmed her eyes.
He only sees me as a friend.
What she saw in him was too good to be true. She got up, and ran out of the hall.
She sprinted into one of the many bathrooms, and slammed the door shut. She pressed her hands to her face, trying to stop the stream of tears.
She heard a familiar voice say her name. "Who is it?"
"You don't know me, but I know you." The woman replied. Taylor opened the door.
She stared bleary eyed into the face of a woman that she had seen on tv many times. "Lexie Grey?" She asked, her voice cracking.
"Chyler Leigh," the tall, brunette woman said, "But yes, Lexie Grey."
"W-What're you doing here?" Taylor was trembling.
"I'm here because of Supergirl." Chyler said.
"O-oh." Taylor said.
"I thought I saw you, and you looked upset, so I thought I was ask what was wrong." Chyler said, concerned.
Taylor smiled bitterly. "I had feelings for this guy who doesn't feel the same way."
Chyler hugged Taylor. "I'm sorry."
Taylor broke down into Chyler's shoulder. "I-it hurts." She sobbed.
"I know, I know. It sucks." Chyler soothed.
Taylor looked into Chyler's face. "You're so kind."
Chyler smiled. "You are too. Now c'mon. Let's go to the Supergirl panel."
