Taylor woke to the sound of her phone buzzing.

She was half asleep when she grabbed her phone. She had a text from Chris.

She tried to get her tired eyes to focus on the words.

Hey Taylor. It's Chris Evans. I'm going to be at Vancouver Comic Con, and I was wondering if you wanted to get to know each other?

She bit her lip, and thought about her response.

Totally. Let me know when you land in Vancouver. I'll pick you up.

When she sent the text, her stomach flipped. She texted Katie.

You'll never guess what happened.

Katie was off today, so her responses were quick.

What?

Taylor grinned.

He texted me.

She waited for Katie's response.

Holy shit. I'm going to come over. Is that okay?

Taylor couldn't stop smiling.

Of course. You're always welcome here.

When Katie arrived, Taylor had gotten changed so she didn't look like she just rolled out of bed.

Katie grinned at her. "Taylor Swift has a date!" Taylor blushed.

"I know!" Taylor squealed. "I'm so happy!"

Katie grinned. "I'm happy for you!"

They talked for three hours, and Katie returned home.

The next day was the big day.

When Taylor woke the next morning, she had another text from Chris.

Hey Tay. I'll be landing at noon. I hope to see you then.

It was ten thirty, and she had some time to kill.

For the hour and half, she puttered around the house, cleaning, writing songs.

When it was noon, she went to the airport, and waited for Chris. She was on FaceTime with Katie.

When he came into her line of view, she said, "Oh here he comes!"

"Go get 'em tiger!" Karie said, cackling.

Taylor quickly approached him. "Hey Chris!" He turned to her, and started walking in her direction.

"Hey!" He gave her a hug, and she heard Katie say, "Oooh!" On her side of FaceTime.

"Who's that?" Chris asked, taking Taylor's phone.

"M-my friend Katie." Taylor stuttered.

"Katie who?"

"Cassidy," Katie said, "If you hurt Tay, I'm going to hurt you." Katie hung up, leaving the threat in the air.

"Damn." Chris said. "Is she always like that?"

Taylor was blushing. "Y-yeah, pretty much."

"Don't blush." He brushed her blonde hair out of her face, and her cheeks burned.

"I'm sorry." She said, awkwardly. "This is embarrassing." She hid her face in her hands.

"What? No, don't be embarrassed." He hugged her again, and she leaned into his arms.

"Let's go back to my house, and we can talk." Taylor said.

"Whatever you say, Miss Swift."

And with that, Taylor blushed harder than she ever had before.
