Chapter 32

NO ONES POV
The ambulance finally arrived to take Beca to the hospital. On the drive Beca died in the ambulance. She died,for four minutes. The managed to bring her back but her pulse was weak,they needed to get her to hospital and they needed to get there quick. Chloe was squeezing her girlfriends hand so hard,so scared that she was going to lose the girl she was falling in love with. Finally they made it to the hospital and were rushed through to the first trauma room available.
Chloe however was ushered straight to the waiting room to sit there and anxiously wait to hear news on her girlfriend. Finally six hours later a doctor approached a crying Chloe.
"Miss Beale?" Chloe looked up from her hands.
"Yes. Please tell me she's ok? Can I see her?" Chloe replied not taking a single breath.
"She's fine. She had a few broken ribs and some internal bleeding which we managed to fix in surgery. She's resting now but she's going to be ok." The redhead finally managed to breathe.
"Oh Thank God. Can I see her?"
"Yes. Follow me" Chloe gladly followed the doctor to the room where her girlfriend was led in a hospital bed. As soon Chloe reached the room,she ran to the bed and grabbed Beca's hand.
"Beca. I can't believe he did this to you." Chloe sobbed. She sat there for hours holding the brunettes hand and singing to her. Whilst she sat there in silence her phone chimed making the redhead jump.
Bellas group chat
Aubrey: Chloe,you Okay? Did you find Beca?
Chloe: I'm fine. Beca's not😔
Amy: What happened to shortstack? Walk into a low branch?😂
Chloe: Amy!! This is serious,Beca is in the hospital😭
Amy: Wait what?
Aubrey: What?
Jessica: Beca's where?
Stacie: shit. Why?
Aubrey: Chloe,what happened?
Cynthia: Is there anything we can do?
Chloe: Woah girls too many questions at once. Look I don't know how much Beca would want me to say...but Amy you know what I told you the last time something like this happened?
Amy: yeah...
Chloe: well it's him.
Aubrey: who?
Amy: Fuck.
Chloe: Beca's dad. He's dangerous and he's hurt her,badly. And I don't know what's going to happen
Amy: Do you need us to come to the hospital? I can be her personal bodyguard.
Aubrey: yeah Chlo,do you need us there?
Chloe: Thanks for the offer girls but I just want to be alone with her right now. I'll update you when I know more x

CHLOES POV
I'm sat besides Beca's bed waiting for her to wake up. I can't believe this is the second time I've been in the hospital with her. I need to keep her safe and I'm going too. I can't lose her. After hours of sitting here here I feel something squeeze my hand. It's Beca.
"Becs?" I ask quietly,she slowly opens her eyes and looks at me.
"Hey Beale" she smiles.
"Thank God you are ok. I was so worried about you"
"Worried about me? Come on babe,I'm a badass. Tougher than nails" she sarcastically replies to me.
"Beca this isn't funny. You could have died." I angrily pointed out with tears in my eyes.
"I know. I know,I'm sorry"
"What are we going to do about this Becs? This has got way out of hand."
"Well what do you want me to do Chloe? Go to the police?" She snapped back at me.
"Yes actually,I do. He could of killed you. He's dangerous and should be locked up. What if he's not just hurting you? What if he's got others..." I start to ramble before she stops me.
"Ok...."
"Ok?" I replied completely shocked.
"You're right. He could be hurting other people and I think,maybe,the the police is the right way to go. I'm tired of running from my problems. I want to be happy with my life and I can't do that if I'm constantly worried that he's there ready to hurt me"
I smiled wildly,proud of my girlfriends words and kiss her softly.
"I'm so proud of you babe. You are so strong"
A few hours later beca and I have been talking,cuddling and being us. When suddenly there is a knock at the door. Two police officers stand in the doorway waiting to talk to us. I look directly into Beca's eyes,grab her hand and ask
"Ready?"
She nods and replies "I'm ready." She squeezes my hand and the police enter her room.
I don't know what's going to happen next but I am going to be by her side throughout all of this because that's what you do for the girl you love.
