Peter Parker
As I turned around I felt my stomach drop and I grew extremely anxious. There before me hovered Iron Man. The mask that protected Tony Stark's face was lifted and he was looking right at me, he looked very nonchalant.
As though on instinct I turned and shot a web towards a building I was about to jump, but my spider sense told me not to. Stopping mid take off an object flew past my hand, severing my web. There on the ground embedded in the concrete of the building was an arrow.
I turned back to Iron Man, crossing my arms unamused.
"Good, now that I have your attention I would like you to listen to what I have to say," He said, once he was sure I wouldn't take off again he continued. "Spiderman the Avengers are recruiting and we think you would be a great asset to the team."
My spider sense is very choosy on the matter, but sometimes it tells me when someone is lying that was now.
"You're lying," I said bluntly, he seemed very taken aback by this.
"Okay you're right, in actuality, I am on Fury's bad side and if I could recruit and bring in the only person SHIELD has nothing on, back on the good side just like that." He said very indifferently.
"No," I said.
"I'm sorry what?" He said.
"I said, no," I repeated.
"Okay let me rephrase myself, you are coming with me, bud." Sarcasm laced his words.
"Hey Steve, Furry said we can use force if needed, right?" He said to no one in particular, I assumed it was a communicator. After waiting for an answer he continued.
"Steve says we can, alright let's make this quick." He started to fly towards me, but I was already jumping out of the way. Once I was out of his reach I started to run to the other side of the building, my plan was to jump to the next and run away. But my spider sense went off telling me to stop. Throwing my breaks on a small curve of a circle of arrows appeared around my feet. So someone was watching from the higher ground.
I turned around to see Iron Man turning around and looking at me. I wanted to escape the roof, but then that mark smith would get me, had to think of a plan fast. There came a loud pounding in my head like someone was trying to get in. I denied them access and fought them for control, looking around I saw a girl that had just come onto the roof from an access point, her eyes and hands glowed red as she looked at me.
The girl looked surprised and called on even more of the red glow. At this point, I was on my knees clutching my head out of pain. I could tell she wanted to have access, but I would not let her. Soon two other figures appeared on the rood the man from the ferry, but with a quiver and a bow and a red-headed lady next to him.
"What's going on Wanda?" Tony asked.
"He is somehow fighting me for control, I don't know how." The magic girl said in desperation. Realizing I had, had enough of this I weakly took my hand from my head and shot a web at her, securing her to the roof access wall, and just like that the pain went away. Gasping in relief I quickly noticed I had three more to deal with. Before any of them could make a move I ran to the edge of the building, shot a web and swung away.
I was two blocks away from them when my web snapped, I fell onto a roof covered in gravel, that was painful. A figure stood before me, Captain America, he raised his hand and caught his shield, what I assume cut my web. Staggering to my feet we made contact and he rushed me.
Catching me off guard he threw me over his shoulder, thanks for nothing spider senses. Then I realized they hadn't warned me about anything, had that lady turned it off? He went to throw a punch at me, but my senses told me to jump to the left. Nope, they were just lazy.
