"I have a pet beaver." I suddenly blurt out, still watching him play the game.
He turned around, his eyebrows raised, as he paused the game. "Word?"
"Well it's not a pet, but it... knows me, I guess?" I say holding back laughter.
"You lyin' to me, right now!" He said laughing hard.
"No I am not! I've known since I was 5." I heard him laughing hard, holding for his dear life.
"Nigga, this is ain't funny! I'm serious." I pouted, as I rolled my eyes. I was ready to get up and leave, until he stopped me.
He started containing his laughter. "Wait, wait, wait, wait, Maya." He sat down his remote control and patted on his lap.
"No, nigga!" I said crossing my arms.
"What I say, Maya?"
"What did I say, nigga?!" I said rolling my eyes.
He smirked. "Get your shoes on."
I smiled and jumped up and down squealing.
