"Maya! Open this goddamn door!" I rock back and forth as my tears fall faster than ever. I hold myself tighter as I hear the door almost breaks.

"No! Go away!" I say as I reach for the gun next to me. "Stay away, Stevens!" I say backing up to the wall, trying to find someplace to hide. My mind racing and panicking.

"Open this goddamn door, bitch!" I hear him hit the door harder as the door finally breaks. I cry harder as I hold the gun tightly, aiming it at the door as it opens.

He opens the slowly as he enters one step at a time. His dreads hanging from his face. His eyes bloodshot, face sweaty. "Rabbit got the gun, huh?!" He says mockingly.

"I won't hesitate, Erik." I try to stay calm as my hands shake. He chuckles as he steps closer to me. "You think you're the first one to point a gun at me? You think you scare me?" He says calmly.

He steps closer as I shoot, the bullet barely misses his head. "Oh! You are dead now!" He says as he lifts me up by my neck, my legs dangling from the floor. His grip around my neck tightening by the second.

I struggle as I try to loosen his grip. My hands holding on tight to his. His eyes full of stories I can't even say. I try to wrap my legs around him. Something to loosen his grip. He backs me up the wall more as he chuckles.

My eyes start to roll back as I start to see black spots. I look at him the best I can, my eyes focusing on the 'love of my life.' "I-I'm...s-Sorry." His grip loosens as I drop to the ground, gasping for air. I grab my neck and look at him as he runs his hand through his dreads.

He groans as he walks out of the room. I couldn't cry, I was too shocked. I hear the door slam as I suddenly break down in tears. "I-I gotta get out of here," I mutter through my tears.
