Chapter 17-They're After Me

***A Few Days Later,Late At Night***

"Come here little girl."

"Get the fu** away from me," I threateningly say bringing out my sword.

That's when it looks like a dragon was gonna eat me.And I wake up.

Oh gosh,it was only a dream.I check the time and the clock says "1:15 a.m."

Oh crap.I get up and go downstairs to be a bottle of water.As you may or may not know,I'm insomniac. And that means I have trouble going to sleep at night.So I sometimes stay awake til midnight.I unscrew the cap and take a gulp.And I almost choke when I see a dark shadowy figure standing in front of me.My heart beats a little faster forming adrenaline.And I try not to scream so my mom won't wake up and yell at me.I manage to swallow the rest of the water stuck in my throat.That's what I saw in my dream earlier.I growl a little bit.

"Come with me little girl," it says.I put a hand behind my back and harness my lightning.

"Never," I say.And I throw the bolt,but the figure vanishes and appears in another spot.And I kinda destroy the carpet.It swirls around me and flies into my body.

"Get out of me!" I whisper yell.

"Never,but I will steal your powers and we will take over the world."

"You and what army?"

"The army of creatures and monsters and the undead," it says.Its choking me.I can't...breathe.

"Give me your powers little girl," the figure says.

I don't answer.Get out of me.But the figure manages to stay in my soul.Ugh.I cough up something warm and sticky. Blood.Help me.....

I breathe in and out quickly.Adrenaline!But I can't move.Strength.

I gather my strength which is small at this point and I make the dark shadowy figure roar out of me.I cough up some more blood and load up my ice powers.I turn the ice into ice daggers and throw them at the shadowy figure.And I can't help it anymore.I fall to my knees but force myself up. I don't give up easily,bit**.

I form a wind tornado with my airbending and I move my hand slightly meaning I'm making the tornado move towards the figure.Too much power.I cough up more blood.But luckily I send the figure out of the house.This is my house,bruh,stay out.And once again I cough up blood and fall to the floor,face first.Thank you carpet.And then the world gets pitch black completely.

Hi!!So what do you think will happen to Harley.Will she die of hacking up blood.Or did she only faint even though the world went pitch black.Or will something terrible happen to her and something big happens and she can't stop it.And that's why I love cliffhangers.It builds curiosity.
