Chapter 26-Music Is For The Living

Healyn's dead.I hope the other Omegas are hearing about this.I go on my phone and play her playlist.Tears start streaming down my eyes.Who did this to her?!I will murder whoever did this and I don't give a fudge if I have to serve life in prison.I go on google and search in her name,hoping I'll find the suspect. A whole bunch of things pop up including her family and me,Ana,Isabel,Jasmin,and even Joker.Surprisingly even some of the evil boogers you'd call boys at school.The moment Me And My Broken Heart by Rixton plays more tears fall and my heart is just gone.And I find a certain name in an article that I never want to see again, Skyler Monroe.That little jackass murderer.She's in some prison in Sacramento.I go downstairs and into the kitchen finding my dad on his phone.

"Hey sweetie," he says not looking up from it.

"Hey dad,can we go to this prison in Sacramento," I say showing my phone.I could just tell him the name,but it looks kinda complicated to say.

"Why are we going to a prison?"

"I'm going to have a talk with the person who killed one of my best friends."

"I don't know if we should."

"Please dad,I'm about to get down on my knees and beg you," I say trying to make the most pleading look.

"Well,I'll think about it."

"Okay,thanks dad." I walk out of the kitchen and towards my pet hamster Peanut.

"Hey,Peanut.You wanna go to Healyn's funeral with me.She's the one you crawled on top of."

Peanut is laying down underneath a rainbow paper bedding thingy,but she pops her head out.And she stares at me and wiggles her nose a little.I think she's looking at my soul.I wonder what it looks like.

"I think that's a yes."

"What're you doing?" Angel asks,his arms crossed over his chest.

"What do you think I'm doing,Einstein?"

"Uh,talking to your Hamster." Stanley starts barking even though he sniffed Angel's hand earlier.Muffin is laying down on the floor and Rocky is sitting patiently next to both of us.

"Obviously.Anyway,you wanna say hi?"

"Sure."

I take Peanut out from her cage and hold her in both of my hands.

"You want her on your leg or your head?"

"Head."

I place Peanut on his head.

"If Peanut falls I will cut your head off," I threaten.He raises his hands in surrender.

*A Few Days Later*

Skyler will pay,for everything.I promise.Her lifeless body is laying in a cream white casket.She's wearing a light blue dress.Almost everyone is crying their eyes out except me.Only very few tears fall.I go back to my seat.I don't know if I was supposed to write a eulogy,but I hear the priest call me up to the podium.

"Healyn was one of my best friends, and I can't say thank you enough God for bringing her to me.And I swear to everyone here that her killer will pay the price.I don't know what I'm gonna do now. She died so young.But that doesn't mean her story isn't finished.Cause it has only begun.Thank you."

Joker is called up to the podium.

"Healyn was a great friend and girlfriend, and lord I cannot be as grateful as Hazel Grace in " The Fault In Our Stars" because I am even more grateful for everything."I hear Healyn's mom snickering and crying probably because her daughter's crush actually became her boyfriend and she didn't know.

"Hea,my best friend,and girlfriend, I can't thank you enough for our little infinity.You gave me a forever within a number of days and I am and always will be eternally grateful.I love you."

He steps away from the podium and towards her casket.

*Joker's POV*

I press my lips to hers one last time.But instead a perfect sync I feel lifeless lips against mine.I will miss her to the ends of the universe.But what do you think happened?
