Chapter 23-Our Little Romance

We all ride home and Joker apparently wants to stay with me so I have to ask my mom and risk getting yelled at.Yay*sarcastic jazz hands*!!

"Why do you want to stay anyway?"I ask him as we walk up the street.We rage quit from riding our bikes a while ago but we're almost there.

" One,cause I'm awesome and two cause I wanna spend time with you."

"Dude my mom doesn't know we're dating."

"Oh,fuck.Can you at least drop me off at my place cause I don't know how to get from here to there."

"I'll lead you out of these streets but once we're in American Canyon I'm leaving."

"No you're staying with me and you're gonna meet my parents,well my mom and step dad."

"I have to go back."

"Can't you tell your mom you're staying with a friend?Or can't you just stay for a few minutes?"

"How about we ride to your house and I'll just drop you off with the best goodbye kiss ever?"

"Deal."

So after that long convo me and him rode through the streets of Vallejo and into American Canyon.He grabs my hand and our fingers intertwine.We walk to his house but once we get there I freeze.I see his mom standing in the doorway with Joker's brother.

"Do they know you're dating me?"

"Ya just chill." We stop and face each other right before the pathway starts.

"We'll give you two your privacy," his mom says as they close the door.

"So I-," was all I could say before he put a finger to my mouth.

"You're not going anywhere," he says huskily.

"Babe do you want my mom to yell at me?"

"No but it was worth a shot to try and keep you here," he says as he kisses my head.

"Damn you smell awesome."I kiss his cheek.

" I know."

"I'll always love you," he says pulling me into a hug.

"I know,but for some reason I keep thinking something is gonna happen to me.Would you still love me even if I was gone?"

"Babe don't say that.You're gonna be alive for a long time.And I'll always love you.Even if death do us apart," he says planting a kiss on my nose.

"You're so sweet."

"And you're gorgeous,smart,funny,and I love you so fucking much." I blush a little bit.

He leans in and so do I.We close the space between us.His lips touch mine and they move in perfect sync as always.But then the door opens again.We share a hug and he leaves blowing me a kiss at the doorway.I catch it and plant it on my lips.The door closes and I turn and leave heading home.Damn my life is-as of now-great.
