Chapter 31-Forgiveness Is The Key...Most Of The Time

*Joker's POV*

We head over to the park and sit down on the grass.

"It's a pretty day,we should've brought our bikes," Hea says.

"Nah,it's okay.I just wanted to lay down with you," I say.

"Okay then."We fall back onto the grass and I grab her hand and we just lay there.And for a moment everything seems perfect.Until I hear a familiar voice call my name.

" Yo Christian!!!"

*Hea's POV*

"Babe,did some idiot follow us here?" I ask.

"No sweetie,some idiot came here and somehow found us," he answers.I laugh hard.

"Hey," Angel says.

"Hey,how'd you find us?" I ask.

"I don't know,I just needed to run away from that woman," he says.

"Umm okay."

"Oh ya anyway....Christian your girlfriend is hot."

"What did you say?!" Christian and I yell,simultaneously.

"Ummm...okay....Healyn...You....Are.....Hot," he clarifies.

Christian stands up and walks over to him. Most of the park notices and starts to watch.This is bad.But why can't I stop him?Apparently,because I wanna see my boyfriend go a little crazy for me.I am basically transfixed in my position.

"Bruh I swear,I will knock your teeth out if you say that again."

"Well since I wanna see you go all 'Hulk'," he says pausing for a moment,"your girlfriend is hooootttt."

"That's it," Joker says.He grabs Angel by his shirt and throws a punch.Luckily he misses and I stop him before he lands one.

"Hey,calm down," I tell him.

"NO I CAN'T BECAUSE THIS NIGGA OVER HERE CAN'T CONTROL HIMSELF!!!!" Joker yells.

"Angel,please tell me Ashley dared you to do it," I say.

"She did."

"Did she tell you to say it three times?!" Joker yells questioningly.

"Uh no."

He throws a punch but somehow I come to my feet and take the blow instead of Angel.Why did I do that?I don't know.Why couldn't I let Angel get struck?I don't know.And now I pay the price.There goes my air.I see a familiar face,but I end up closing my eyes before I see what happens next.

*Ashley's POV*

"What the fuck did you just do?!" I yell at Joker.He just sits still,tears running down his eyes.

"Dude you just punched your girlfriend, aren't you gonna try and save her?" Angel asks.He continues sitting still,as if he just shut the world out completely.

"My god," I say.Angel picks her up and tries to shake her back.

"Hey Slim Shady,can you hear me?" I ask her.I'm pretty sure I'm talking to a dead corpse.

"Can't you try saving her," Angel asks Joker.

"Don't you see??I just killed her.I just got her back a few days ago and now its like....I just threw her away."

"You didn't throw her away....you were just blinded....by anger," I tell him.

"Ya that's not gonna work," he answers.

"What happened?" says another familiar voice.

*Joker's POV*

Viviana...Hea told me that they're friends now,or at least buddies but what can she do?

"I punched her,accidentally," I admit.

"Keep telling yourself that," Ashley tells me.

"Ash,not a good time," Angel tells Ashley.

"You can't tell me what to do you butt!!" she yells back.

"Stop it," I yell.

"I can save her," Vivi says.

"You can?!" we all say simultaneously.

"Yup!"

"You're not gonna use dark magic are you?" Ashley asks.

"Heck no.I don't even know how I got it but I guess the power just goes from host to host," she says.She puts her hand over Hea's heart and power begins to go into her.After about a minute later,Hea's eyes start to flutter open.Then she sits up looking a bit confused,or dizzy.

"Hi," Vivi says to Hea.

"Thanks for saving me," Hea says embracing Vivi.

"No prob."

*Hea's POV*

I don't think I wanna talk to him,but at the same time it's my fault.I could've just watched it happen.But Angel didn't deserve it.He was just being an asshole...sorta.

"Glad you're awake beautiful," Joker says.I stare at him coldly.

"What?" he asks confused,as if not remembering what just happened.

"What do you mean 'What'?" I ask.

"Why are you mad?"

"WHAT THE HECK?!YOU JUST PUNCHED ME LIKE....I DON'T KNOW 10 MINUTES AGO AND NOW YOU WON'T APOLOGIZE?!" I yell.

"I'M SORRY!!BUT YOU'RE THE ONE WHO JUMPED IN HIS WAY.HE COULD'VE BEEN THE ONE TO GET HIT.WHY'D YOU DEFEND HIM?!" he yells back.

"HE DIDN'T DESERVE IT!!YOU JUST OVERREACTED!!!YOU ALWAYS OVERREACT!!"

"WELL I'M SORRY I'M A TERRIBLE BOYFRIEND!!" he yells.Oh,shit.I didn't mean for it to go that far.He starts walking away but I jog up next to him.I stand in front of him and he stops walking.

"What?" he asks.God damn I pissed him off.I hate when we fight.It's like getting the silent treatment from my mom except.....I don't know..but it feels like it.

"I'm sorry,but how do you want me to react.I mean you just knocked the air right out of me.What do you think I'll do?" I ask.

"I don't know...I thought you were dead," he answers.

"You're such an idiot my Cityboy," I tell him.

"I know,my Shady princess.But I don't wanna hurt you again."

"You're not,I know you're not."

"I might and I'm not gonna risk it.I almost lost you."

"But you didn't lose me. We'll be alright."

"No we won't. Maybe we just need some time apart."

"What?" I ask.It was a rhetorical question by the way.Tears begin to form and one runs down my eye.

"I'm sorry," he says.

"You're joking right?" I ask.I still can't believe what I just heard.He looks at me with the eyes of someone who knows what they're doing will kill somebody on the inside. Full of sadness and fear.I caused it.

"FINE!!!!" I yell.I back away slowly,turn around and run.A while later I arrive at my house.

"Hi,honey," my mom says.I just wave to her with tears still in my eyes.I walk past her,run upstairs to my room,shut the door and fall onto my bed.

I won't see him for weeks....or more.And the way I left them there.Speechless.

The sad part,I really miss my Cityboy.
