Chapter 24-She's Back?!

I take one look back at his house right before I reach the curb.I look away and face forward.I hop onto my bike and ride away.Man I miss him already.I wake up from my thoughts and pay attention to the road again.But then flashbacks come.Each one involving holding hands,happy moments....

The best memories ever.But then the worst ones come.Death,disapproval,disappointment,so many negative things.I stop my bike and cover my ears,trying to replace them with good memories.Damn!!!!!!

I get so lost in thought I hear pounding footsteps behind me.I look behind me.Finding a familiar unwanted face.I suddenly regret turning around.

"Miss me?"

"Ya no." I push on the pedals and ride away as fast as I can.How is she back?How did she find me?!

"You come back here!!!"She tries running faster but she just tires herself out.I look behind me to make sure she's not chasing me which was another mistake.I fall off the sidewalk and onto the side of the road.Luckily,its the bike lane.I try getting up but I start feeling light headed.Skyler Monroe walks over to me.

" You're dead."I felt a pain on my chest as the air flied out of my lungs.I saw the darkness and the remains of the light I could still see.And with that I faint.

*Ashley's POV*

"Bye Jasmin," I say as Angel and me wave to her.She waves back and closes the door.Great now I'm left with Angel.We stay silent for a while.Walking to wherever the road takes us.Wait,I don't have to stay with him.I can just ride away on my skateboard.

"You know the way to your house right?" I ask him.

"No."Aw shiz.

" Do you want me to leave?"

"If I can borrow your cell phone I can call my mom to pick me up somewhere."

"Ok," I say bringing out my phone and unlocking it.I hand it to him and he dials the number.After probably a 10 minute convo with his mom he ends the call and hands me the phone.

"Should I leave you now?"

"About that..."I tense up.

" What do you mean,'About that'?"

"My mom is pissed off at me for some reason so right now I'm stuck on the street."

A part of me is telling my brain to invite him to my house and the other parts of me just don't care.

"You can stay at my place." I cover my mouth with both hands instantly regretting those words.Great I can't take it back.

"Really?"

"Yaaa," I say sarcastically.I hope he notices.

"Thank you!!!!" he yells hugging ne tight.He lets go and suddenly I don't feel warm.

*Healyn's POV*

I wake up in a windowless room.I look down at myself not knowing what's happening.My vision is still coming together and I can't remember what the heck happened.Then a feminine looking figure comes into the room with what looks like a bat behind her.

"Oh,I see someone is finally awake," she says walking over to me.Ready to hit me at any moment.I notice a knife in her pocket.I'm so dead.

"SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!" I scream.

"You idiot.No one can hear you."She hits me as hard as she can with a bat on my head.

" How the fuck are you still conscious?!"she asks breathless.I don't answer.She grabs me by my neck.

I inhale a big breath and exhale fire like a dragon.She stumbles back and I do it again,giving me time to get away.I blow the fire onto the ropes that are burning me somehow and I run.

*Healyn's Mom's POV*

Where is my daughter?!I decide to call the police.She's been gone all day.I don't think there are any monsters left out there to murder.I walk towards the telephone and dial the police.

"Hello,this is Ofiicer Jon," says the voice.

"Hello Officer I'd like to report a missing child."

"Mam I am sorry but we don't have it in the budget right now to look for a missing child."

"My daughter saves the entire world from falling into oblivion cause of this apocalypse!!"I yell.

" Oh,I'm sorry.What is the information you'd let us use to find her."

(Author's note-I won't go to much into it.Sorry.)

After that the police thank me and tell me to be patient as they try to find her.

*Ashley's POV*

I hope my dad will understand.And my dogs.

We walk down the sidewalk coming to the curb.

"So,do your parents mind me staying?"

"Oh..I haven't told them yet."I bring out my phone and call my dad.

He picks up.

" Hi dad."

"Where are you?"

"I'm coming home calm down."

"Ok then bye sweetie."

"Wait dad before you go,can I bring a friend over?"

"Depends."

"You'll see when we get there."

"Ok then,bye."

"Bye." And I end the call and put my phone away.

"So were they okay with it?"

"I didn't tell my dad that you're coming.I just said I'm bringing a friend over.We'll just have to find out."

"Okay."
