Skeleton in my Closet

My dog

Came winning

And pouting up to me

I thought he needed water

But he didn't

He wanted a bone

I had a skeleton

In my closet

I gave it to him

Piece by piece

Bone by bone

Until it was all gone

Until it was no more

Until my closet was empty

But I had lied

I had more than one

Skeleton in my closet

And now they are all gone

No more bones

My dog still whines

But until I get another skeleton

He will have to wait
