Sick Day Off ¤~¤

After heading home and going to sleep I woke up feeling very sick. My throat was sore and itchy and my head was pounding.
I groan and rolled over onto my side. "Lia, can you bring me some water please?" I heard footsteps go to the kitchen and walk to my room. She came in and handed me the water. "Are you okay?" I shook my head which was a bad idea because it made the headache worst.
"I'm not feeling so good. Everything hurts." I whine and complain like I always do when I'm sick. I'm just a big baby when I'm sick and I'm not ashamed to admit it.
"I'll call Benson and tell him you're not coming to work. I'm also gonna call work and tell them I'm not. I'll run to the store to buy medicine, tea, and soup." She rubbed my back. This calmed me down.
"Thanks Lia you're the best. Love you" she smiled and pat my head walking out. I drunk my water and grabbed my phone to text Rigby and tell him I wasn't coming in. I would of texted the others but I never got their numbers.
"Hey Rigby, I won't be in today. I'm not feeling so well so just tell the others. Lia is calling Benson to tell him now."
I got a response right away. "Okay hope you feel better. If you want me and mordeci can come over after work and keep you company. We're not doing much but snack bar and usually that'll be 3 hours." I smiled. I wouldn't mind the guys coming over but than again I don't want them to get sick. It's already bad enough Lia is staying around me.
"Nah guys don't worry. As nice as that sounds, I don't wanna risk you guys getting whatever I have. We should totally hang out when I'm better." I sent it and turn to do something.
What to do what to do. I groan boredly throwing my hands above my head. This is boring. My phone buzzed so I grabbed it and it was a response from Rigby. "I'm coming over, Mordecai said he'll take my work for me. So I'm free to hang out. Dont worry about me getting sick I want to be there to help you" awe how sweet. I started blushing. This is the sweetest thing a guy ever did well not really but sweetest thing that Rigby ever did for me. It made my stomach do flips.
I decided to text back, "Rigby that is so sweet. Thank you for doing this just for me. You're very sweet and I'll owe you back. Maybe when I feel better we can go out to eat at my dad's restaurant."
I smiled at my own text hoping he'll agree. I just realized I just asked Rigby on a date. I started blushing like crazy. What was I thinking? Maybe he won't see it like that but just a friend thing. I hope I'm not giving signs out I don't want him thinking I like him because he's just a friend. What am I thinking of course he knows we're just friends.
After that thought there was a knock on the door. I got up and went down to the door and opened it. Rigby was standing there sort of red. He looked like he was running.
"Hey sorry I'm here so early. I didn't think I'll make it that fast but I guess jogging got me here faster than expected. And yes I would love to go on that date." I flinched at the word date. So this is a date oh god. He started laughing at my reacting. "I know not a date date but a get together is still considered somewhat a date." I blushed at how foulish I was. Of course he didn't like me romantically. I'm his friend and just that. That's how I want it to be.
