Me and Lia decided to stay to pick a movie. Everyone was a little frightened of Lia, but I assure them she's cool now.
Rigby never came back, thank god. But still I feel a little bad for him. I'm not one to hold a grudge or get into unneeded drama. Plus Rigby was seriously a fun friend, I just don't know what to do.
"What's on your mind Mya?" Fives asked patting my head. "Just wondering how to fix the problem between me and Rigby is all." He shrugged, "Rigby is like a big baby about this but he'll get over it. Not now but he would." That didn't really help me but I nodded and thanked Fives for trying.
We all decided on a movie to watch. It's the new movie Us that came out. It looked cool so we decided we should head to a movie theater. Mordecai called Rigby to meet us up there since we couldn't find him in the park.
When we got there Rigby was already there. "What took you guys long. Me and Eileen been here for 10 minutes." Rigby complained. "Well pops had to pee and then I forgot the money so I had to go to the bank. Stop your complaining it was only 10 minutes." Benson said glaring at Rigby. Benson walked up to him and whispered something into his ear which Rigby reacted with a shock face then anger. Rigby glared at me the whole time, while I tried to restrain Lia from attacking.
When we got our tickets pops and skips decided to get a none scary movie so we split up. Benson said he'll pay for snacks if we all payed for the tickets ourselves, so we did. We found our sits and waited. I heard Rigby say something about me to Eileen which earned him a punch from Mordecai. I giggled, Mordecai is always looking out for me even against his own friend. I signaled Mordecai to sit next to me on my left as Lia was on my right. He agreed and moved sits which of course Rigby had a problem with and called him a traitor.
"Hey Mordecai, you think this movie is too scary for Mya?" Lia asked over me. "nah I believe it's just a little scary but mainly funny, she should be fine. If not she could always hold onto me." I blushed a little. Mordecai is too nice it's kind of flattering for him to say that. "Aw Mordecai you're too sweet." I smiled at him which made him blush but he didn't say anything. I noticed he was looking past me so I turned to see what he was looking at. I saw Rigby glaring but noticed me and turned away. "What's his problem?" Mordecai shrugged. "Maybe just jealous." Now I was confused. "Jealous of what? Me taking you away from him?" Mordecai shrugged. "Maybe that or something else." I was about to question it but Benson came with the snacks. "Man you know how much these snacks cost. What do they think this is a luxury hotel!" I giggled and grabbed gummy bears.
"Hey I wanted that!" Eileen whined. "Oh we can share it's a big bag." I offered but she rolled her eyes and told Rigby to do something about it. "What the heck, I just offered you some. Either take it or leave it." I said with a shrug showing that I didn't care what she choose. "I guess take it." She snatched the bag out my hands which made Lia grab her arm and twist it. "Listen here you brat, Mya offered you some. Too bad you wanna be a b*tch and not take the offer. Now hand it over or I break your arm, got it." Eileen freaked out and dropped the bag. "Rigby did you see what this she man just did." Rigby didn't say anything, he was too afraid of Lia to do anything. "Ugh, you're just gonna let her do this to me." She whined but again Rigby just stood quiet.
Lia was so close to wanting to rip her ponytail off but I held her back. The movie was starting and I was already creeped out about it. Whenever I watch a scary movie I usually talk through it, it calms me. I turned towards Lia to crack a joke and we both laughed. I got popcorn thrown at me, you could probably guess by who. I ignored it and kept watching. When the movie was finally over we headed out. "That movie was awesome, I love the part in the middle." (Not trying to spoil the movie XD). "The part with the mansion house was funny." Mordecai said. I laughed agreeing. "Ugh she never shuts up." Rigby whined and tugged Eileen forwards. "Um.. well thanks Mordecai for letting me hold onto you in the scary parts. Lia usually is too rough but you're comfy. Did you know that?" Mordecai chuckled. "My ex told me that before so yeah." I giggled. Fives and Muscleman walked over to us. "Hey you know you have popcorn in your hair right. You know who else has popcorn in their hair.... MY MOM" I giggled. As many times I heard a My Mom joke from Muscleman I still don't get it but I find it amusing. "Yeah I know, Rigby and Eileen was throwing it at me throughout the movie." Fives shook his head, "well that's a lot of wasted popcorn." Lia elbowed Fives. "Hey! I'm just saying." Fives whined as I rolled my eyes.
I looked back at Benson who looked bored and walked over to him. "How did you like the movie?" He jumped, I guess he didn't see me walk up to him. "It was good. Hey I have a silly question, but are you and Mordecai together?" I bursted out laughing which earned me a confused look from the group and Benson. "Of course not. What gave you that idea?" I asked shaking my head at the thought. "Oh just you two were real close throughout the movie. I just assumed you were, sorry." I told him it was no big deal. We headed to the carts and drove back to the park. This day was filled with a lot of action.
