Mordecai POV
The next day I went over to Mya's apartment to help her move in. Skips also came since we needed someone strong. When I got there Mya ran up to me and jumped into my arms for a hug. "I'm so excited to be moving in with y'all. This is going to be the best." She squealed and let go of me. "Thanks so much for coming to help Mordecai, you didn't really have to." She had the sweetest smile. I couldn't help but smiled back. "Anything to help Mya, seriously its no big deal."
From the corner of my eyes I saw skips put his thumbs up to me with a smirk. I looked away getting embarrassed. "Anyway, what do you need help carrying out?" She grabbed my arm and lead me in. I looked around at the boxes. Not as many as I would have thought but then again their apartment was small. I started to take some boxes out and put them into Lia's car.
Once we were all done we did a one last check to make sure everything was cleared out and nothing was left. Me skips and Mya hopped into the golf cart while Lia drove her car since it was packed with boxes.
"So Mya you excited to be moving in with these guys?" Skips asked her with a smirk. She smiled widely. "Of course, at first I was nervous about it, but now I'm excited. I already like it there plus everyone well mainly everyone is so nice to me. Plus this helps out Lia too so it just works out." She giggled at the end which made my heart do flips.
Skips nudged me, I guess I was blanking out. "Huh?" I looked at Skips but he was looking at Mya who was smiling out the window with this cute look. She must have been thinking about something. "Make your move" Skips whispered. Make my move? What move? Does he not know how bad I am with girls. "So Mya what do you want to.... I mean would you want to... Well would you like to hang out with me. Not like a date but like chill after work and after you unpack. Well Unless you think that it'll be a lot for you today." I looked at her and she was dozed off.
"Or you can sleep, that works too." Skips laughed. "Well good thing she was sleeping through that. That was embarrassing dude." I face palmed. "Skips you know I haven't dated someone in so long. Plus Mya is different she's not like Margaret or CJ. She innocent and sweet and just I want to protect her at all cost." He snickered. "What about Rigby huh?" I groan. "He's with Eileen. Look I wasn't going to ask her out, not yet at least. We haven't even hung out yet besides yesterday. I also don't wanna rush into this." He nodded and pulled up at the park. "We'll find out how she feels about you first. You know how she felt about dating since her ex. Just be careful with her. She's a good kid, and I don't want to see her hurt." I nodded "same here".
We parked up and I woke Mya up. She was still in a daze so I picked her up and carried her into the house. I placed her on the couch. "Hey dude where were you all morning. We were suppose to head to the breakfast dinner with Eileen and Margaret. Woah woah what is she doing here?" Rigby shouted waking up Mya. "Hmm" she mumbled in a sleepy way. "Oh hey Rigby, how did I get in here?" She yawned "I carried you in, also she's moving in. Did Benson not tell you?" Rigby screamed " WHAT NO WAY, how could he let HER stay HERE. It's already bad enough she see her at work but now we'll have to see her more." I rolled my eyes ignoring him.
"Mya just go lay in your new room, we will carry the stuff in." She nodded. "Carry me please." She said so cutely I blushed and nodded. I picked her up bridal style while she cling to my shirt. Rigby glared at us as I carried her up to her new room. "Thanks Mordecai, you're the best." She fell straight to sleep once I laid her down.
