I woke up hyperventilating my vision was blurry and all I could hear was voices.
"Mya dear, how do you feel? You were out for hours"
"Hun she just woke up give her some space."
"I just have to make sure she's okay. My poor baby can you hear me"
I opened my eyes slowly and blinked. I saw my dads standing besides me in their uniform from work. Both had a concern look on their face. I noticed I was at their house in my old room.
"Honey you know you passed out right? Lia called us right away saying you had a panic attack so we rushed to get you. Everyone at your job was so worried for you we told them you were okay but they wouldn't leave so we invited them to stay until you woke up. Everyone's downstairs do you want them to come up?"
Daddy said while I shrugged and sat up stretching.
"I'll get them hun you can relax here with her. Oh and Mya hun I'm making that soup you love so much."
I smiled at dad and he walked out.
"That short kid that works with you sure do like you"
I was shocked and looked at daddy.
"What short kid and what are you talking about?"
"That Ruby kid, he wouldn't let you go he was so scared he cried all the way here."
Rigby? When I first met him he hated me. Ever since last night he's been quiet and nice. I guess he got over that girl or he realized I wasn't that girl so he shouldn't be pissed at me. But my daddy is just over reacting Rigby wouldn't cry over someone he just met and to top it all off the person he hated when he first met.
"His name is Rigby and I doubt that daddy. Plus I'm not looking for a relationship I'm there to work my butt off and get money."
"That's my girl, but what about that guy Eric from high school. Didn't he engage you 2 years ago."
"Daddy, stuff happened between us and..."
Everyone walked into the room and I stopped talking.
"Mya, you're okay we were all so worried about you."
Pops said with a smile on his face.
"I told them don't worry but they insist they come to make sure your okay."
Lia said smirking while everyone was murmuring.
"Thanks guys for coming but I'm okay seriously it happens a lot. I suffer from anxiety and sometimes it gets too overwhelming and I panic too much and pass out."
"Was it because all the work you did today? If you would of said something I wouldn't have let all that be on you."
Benson said in a concerned fatherly way.
"No no it wasn't from that just something triggered me and yeah."
Soon after everyone ate after my dads insist they stay for dinner they all went home and I stood at my dads house with Lia since she was too lazy to drive home.
"So you gonna tell me what happened?"
Lia asked while sitting on my bed.
"Well you remember Eric right?"
"Ew don't remind me."
I laughed
"Well he called today saying that he was in town and he was gonna see me at the park tomorrow and I panicked."
"What is his deal how can he think he could walk right back to you like nothing ever happened and think it'll be okay. The nerve on that guy, if I see him he is dead."
We talked all night after that and in the morning we said goodbye to my dads and went home and got ready for work. Benson tried to convince me to stay home and relax but I like working it calms me. Hopefully Eric was bluffing when he said he'll come.
We got to Lia's job and she gave me something to eat and coffee for me and everyone. I thanked her and left to the park.
Everyone was there already on the steps while Benson was lecturing them about today.
"Hey guys I brought some snacks and coffee today. And the van is already here I see with the party stuff."
I said looking towards the van with the men taking out the stuff and setting it up.
"Hey Mya and yes they are, thank you still for this."
Benson said praising me.
"That's unnecessary Benson, I work here so it's the best I could do."
I handed everyone a coffee and snack and listened to the rest of Bensons lecture while drinking my coffee.
"Pss" I heard behind my ear so I turned and Mordecai was right in my face.
"Hey after we set up and stuff do you wanna come with me and Rigby to the coffee shop that our friend works at. Since we don't have to stay for the party?"
I nodded and he smiled. I saw him whispered to Rigby who also smiled at me.
We started to set up the party stuff and soon people and children started showing up.
This looks so fun I missed being a kid.
"Hey miss how old are you?" One of the kids asked
"I'm 19 years old" he looked shocked from that answer.
"You look younger like a kid because of your outfit."
I looked down at my outfit which was my favorite pink sweater and jeans.
"What's wrong with my outfit?"
I asked Rigby who passed by me with Mordecai.
"Um.. well... you look like a kid wearing that and since your short..."
I pouted. Well who cares maybe it's a good thing I look young.
I jumped from the sound of the squeal of a microphone.
I hate that sound so much. I looked towards where the sound came from and paused.
Oh no.
(Kool aid man bust through a brick wall "oh yeah")
"Can I have everyone's attention? Okay I just want to make a quick announcement to my beautiful wife Mya who is pregnant with my baby just want to say I love you and wanted everyone to know that."
All the parents cheered and congrats me of my so called pregnancy while the guys were all shocked and looking at me confused.
"Well that's a shocker. You didn't tell anyone about us or our soon to be baby."
Eric said hugging me from behind and rubbing my belly.
"Get off of me how dare you tell people I'm pregnant or we're married. There is something really wrong with you."
I pushed him off and walked off and of course he followed.
"Baby stop acting like you don't miss me. Are you shy in front of everyone because they found out you're pregnant with my baby."
"I haven't seen you in two years how am I pregnant with your baby explain that."
"So you've been sleeping around eh. Bet it's one of these guys you been sleeping with behind my back, you dirty slut."
I slapped him across the face.
"Don't you call me that you shouldn't even be here I can call the cops on you."
"Then what's stopping you baby? Oh yeah you don't got the guts to."
The guys were just watching this whole time and some parents too who were trying to make it seem like they weren't.
"Leave now." I growled walking out of the park to avoid people stares.
"Baby I missed you come here we can work all of this out."
He grabbed me from behind and hugged me.
"What happened before was a mistake that anyone would of done. And what happened now was just to get your attention and to let everyone know you're mine."
I elbowed him in the guts.
"I'm not yours go now." He grabbed me hard this time and tried to kiss me. His grip was really hurting me.
I started to tear up, I was so scared I didn't know what to do.
He pulled my chin up to his so he could kiss me.
I tried so hard to push him away.
Next you know it a girl with red and black hair punched him in the face.
He backed up and touched his nose which was bleeding now.
"I'll come back for you slut."
He spit blood at my foot and walked off.
"Are you okay? I'm Margaret by the way."
I hugged her tightly.
"Thank you so much thank you. I'm fine now but thank you. I don't know what I'll do I completely frozed up. And no one was helping and I..."
I stopped and sighed happily
"Thank you."
She giggled and patted my back.
"I couldn't just walk past and witness this harassment. You know us girls have to stick together and protect each other from creeps."
I smiled and nodded fast.
She saved my life for now but what about next time he comes back.
