"Midoriya my boy!!" All Might grabbed the green haired boy, enveloping him into hug with his muscle form. All Might immediately transformed back, blood spewing from his mouth.
"I'm okay, All Might! I just needed...." Midoriya stopped, not quite sure what it was he needed. He moved his head downward. He could feel the room getting tense. He didn't want to be the cause of all this chaos and calamity.
Shinsou cleared his throat, "All right, well, I should probably head back to class."
"Here Shinsou. Let me write you a note at least." Recovery Girl said.
"Nahh, it's fine." Shinsou replied.
"Nonsense. Give me just a second." Recovery Girl said, hopping off her stool to walk to a stack a papers on a nearby cabinet.
Shinsou looked around the room, getting the gist of the situation. He watched as All Might asked about Midoriya's new gear while Midoriya explained, focusing on nowhere in particular.
He couldn't believe that Midoriya was completely blind now. What kind of quirk was powerful enough to ensure blindness for life? He wondered. Recovery Girl walked over to Shinsou, interrupting his thoughts.
"Here you go, Shinsou. Hurry back to class now."
All Might paused speaking with Midoriya to shake hands with the young, purple-haired boy.
"Thank you, Young Shinsou! For a moment, we thought we lost him!" All Might said, laughing nervously.
His hand is so small now, was the only thing Shinsou could think. He glanced at Midoriya who was looking just over his head. Midoriya smiled. Shinsou's eyes widened slightly.
All Might turned around to see what caught Shinsou's attention. His pupil was smiling. All Might turned away, wiping away a tear.
Shinsou smirked. "All Might, don't cry just because your disciple is smiling at me."
All Might's jaw-dropped. He turned toward the purple-haired boy, a pleading look in his eyes.
"Anyways, if you need anymore help or wanna take a walk on the normal side, just search me out, Midoriya. I'll be around." He turned to leave, not wanting to hear the reply. As he walked down the hallway, he heard a slew of familiar voices. Guess it's high time I disappear from this scene.

"This is fucking BULLSHIT!" Bakugo yelled again, turning to Todoroki who was silently walking next to Present Mic.
"Fighting in school is bullshit! YEAAAA!" Present Mic yelled back at the fiery blond.
Todoroki didn't hear much as he was deep in thought. There had to be a way to end Midoriya's blindness. It was caused by a quirk, so it could be stopped by a quirk. He thought of the ways it could be cured, when an uneasy thought appeared in his head.
He could find that villain and make him speak.
Maybe the villain was the cure. He would have to end his quirk or make it stop manually. That had to be the case. He looked up, noticing that the yelling stopped. They were outside the infirmary.
"Kacchan, is that you? What are you doing out of class with Present Mic-sensei?"
"Shaddup! None of your goddman business, Deku!"
"Oi, son. That's no way to talk to your classmate!" Present Mic said, chopping Bakugo on the head. Midoriya laughed.
Todoroki's world brightened considerably in that moment. He lost his train of thought just to bask in the warmth of Midoriya's smile. He was always so genuine and optimistic, even during tough battles.
"Oi, half-n-half basted. You gonna say anything or just look like a fucking moron?"
"Shouto, is that you?" Midoriya said looking towards Bakugo.
"I'm here, Izu." Todoroki said gently, letting his nickname for Izuku slip out. Izuku's face lit up like Christmas lights. For just a moment, it felt like it was the two of them.
Until a fist came flying at him, hitting him square in the cheek.
"WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL HIM, YOU PIECE OF SHIT!?" Bakugo screamed while being restrained on the ground by Present Mic.
"Kacchan, what's going on? Todoroki? What's happening?" Midoriya said, anxiety entering his voice.
Todoroki's ego hurt more than his face at the moment. He went from Shouto back to Todoroki while Bakugo was Kacchan.
"Nothing is going on, Izuku. Bakugo is just being unreasonable."
"SAY THAT AGAIN!" Bakugo was being hard to restrain. He let out an explosion, causing Present Mic to let go for a moment. Seizing the opportunity, he scrambled toward Todoroki who was entering a fighting stance.

It happened in a flash.

A loud sound resonated through the floor, and Midoriya was inbetween both boys, a long cane in his hand. He flipped the cane, knocking Bakugo to the ground in a dumbfounded state. Before Bakugo could react, Midoriya was standing over him, the staff pointed at his body.
"I can't see," he said slowly and clearly for both boys to hear. "But I can still fight. I am not a hindrance. I am not at a disadvantage. I am, however, pissed --" he raised his voice "-- and totally down to kick some ass. So if either of you want to fight, I have some new gear that needs to be tested and I'll take both of you on!" Midoriya pulled his staff back, offering Bakugo a hand. Bakugo noticed Midorya staring off behind him. How did be move between us so quickly and block if he still can't see?
"Izuku," Todoroki whispered, at a loss for words. Right now, he was Izuku's greatest hindrance. How could he have been to stupid as to think Izuku couldn't do anything for himself? "I'm so sorry."
Midoriya pulled to help Kacchan up. He turned in Todoroki's direction.
"Stop. I don't need your sympathy. I thought you'd be on my side through this, but instead you're wallowing in pity."
Todoroki flinched as Bakugo's jaw dropped.
"All right, all right. Time to head to the principal's office you two." Present Mic said, anger visible on his face.
All Might stood in the doorway in awe at his student. He was worried about Midoriya's mental state, but now he felt proud at how truly strong he is.
"Training you say?" All Might said as Midoriya felt his way back to the door.
Midorya turned red again. "I-I-I was just thinking of testing my gear! That's all! I didn't mean to sound so threatening! They're gonna hate me now!--" Midoriya continued mumbling.
All Might laughed heartily. Looks like he has nothing new to worry about for the fate of his student. "So let's train!"
