The truth
is not the truth entirely
I think of it as a lie
nothing more than a fraud
because
if you are told
you matter to someone
you are enough for someone
you are loved by someone
or just simply are to someone
then how
do they rip your heart open
the one heart
you didn't know you had
until it fit with theirs
and gave love to yours
why don't we just give up
when
they can live without us
because
if nobody cares
are we even alive at all
