I can't wait
to leave this old town
that has done nothing
but suffocate me
with the same buildings
and same people
to see the look
on their faces
as they finally realize
I wasn't meant to fit in this town
or this city
or country for that matter
the truth is
that I belong among the stars
but at the moment
for another place
I'll settle
just to get the hell out of here
