The school year ended and I was afraid of that summer. I knew it'd be a lonely one - with no friends, no calls, no texts, no nothing. Actually, I don't see why I still have a phone. Around 2 o'clock today, I got a text message. I thought somebody was actually trying to talk to me. Turns out, it was just the bill company.....again. So as I was saying, I just knew that summer was going to suck. Around this time, I couldn't help but think he was tired of me. All we've done was argue. And the crazy thing is, this is how are our conversations went:
A few weeks into Summer, I decided to take a break from it all - Denis, Johnny, Evansville, everything. So I went to Columbus, Georgia to stay with my aunt. For a while, it actually felt good to be away from Evansville. I actually laughed at something, I had good meals, life seemed to be perfect. One night, I was cooking burgers for myself and I heard a vibration in the living room. It was my phone. I checked it and it was Denis. "Hey, what's up?" He said. I texted back, "Leave me alone, I'm not your friend." "Why?" "You know why, you homophobic jerk!" "Dude....." After a while (and this isn't the first time), he got all sappy on me and I said, "Fine, I just want us to be friends, bro." "Me too. I'm sorry brother (church talk btw)." We chatted and then I went back to business. I just say what I say so he'll be quiet. No matter how many times I tell him I'm not his friend, he refuses to accept it. Like I always say, I'm not going to be your friend if you never hang out with me or you basically hate me.
