Occasionally during my stay in Georgia, I went to my cousin's house. I always got on his iPad. It was around 10pm and again Denis sent me a message. Like always, an argument busted out but this one was intense. "Why do you hate me?" "I don't. You just don't understand." "Understand what? That you just don't want to be around me because I'm gay??" "That's not true. I'm always busy." "Denis, you are lying! In fact, I think you're gay." "I'm not gay. You shouldn't say that." "Oh really? You're gay and you know it. You love me. You're just too scared to admit it." "I'm not talking to you anymore." He logged off and I sat there thinking, "I did it. I hit something in him." I went to sleep and days after, I received no messages from him. I don't know why I cared but I couldn't resist him. I was in love with him, yet I couldn't shake the feeling that he isn't gay.

So I texted him over and over, "Denis, talk to me." "Denis, I'm sorry." "Denis, come on, like you didn't do anything." "Denis, accept me." Eventually he texted me and said, "No, you made me mad by saying that I'm gay when I'm not." "I'm sorry, brother, I won't do it again." "It's okay." Afterwards, I got the thinking. "He is such the classic closet case, I swear. What am I to do? If he's straight, he's straight, but I'm the reason why people question their sexuality haha."

Often, my other cousin came over and chatted with me. He knew I was gay so I could talk to him about anything. "And he just....I don't know what to do about him." He looked at me and said, "Well, try not to force anything out of him or on him. He just needs a friend." "I know he does but he acts so distant towards me that it's ridiculous." "Maybe you shouldn't be his friend." I looked down. "I always try that but then he calls me out on it and refuses to let go." "Well, do what you gotta do I guess, man."
