Last Night

Chapter 1: The Invite

"Hey Abby!" I snapped out of my trance I was in and closed my book only to find Cody Simpson towering over me. I was startled and just replied with a simple hello. He handed me a folded piece of light blue paper and said "Here I would love for you to come!". I took the paper and unfolded it. I was shocked to see that it was a party invitation.

I gave Cody a puzzled look and he said "I invited all your friends like Sarah, Rebekah, Genny, Alexis and Lindsay".

"I'll call u later to let you know if I can go." with that he took a pen out of his back pack and wrote his phone number on my hand followed by Cody <3. On the inside I was screaming I had just got the hottest guy in the 9th grades number but I just said "thanks".

I looked at my phone and realized I only had 5 minutes of lunch left so I ran to go find my best friend Sarah. She was with her acting teacher Mr.James(Theo James) I ran in and screamed her name she looked at me and walked over while I caught my breath.

"Whats wrong?" she asked with concern in her eyes. I was still out of breath and just shoved my hand in her face. Her mouth fell open and I explained to her what happened. She nearly screamed but I slapped a hand over her mouth while Mr.James sat there and stared at us. She told Mr.James she would see him later and followed me to our lockers to prepare for 4th period.

"Why are you so surprised. you've known Cody since the 7th grade?" stated Sarah. I replied "Yeah I know but he never ever talked to me or invited me to anything! This us huge for me!" She nodded in agreement and we went to 4th period which for both of us was science. I soon remembered that Cody was in our science class along with some other guys who would be there like Harry Styles, Ansel Elgort and Niall Horan.

We walked into science class and took our normal seats in the back and continued talking about the party that was in 2 weeks. To our surprise Cody left his group of friends and sat on the other side of me. Sarah started to giggle and said "I'll leave you two alone" and took a seat at the front with our other friends Rebekah and Genny.

"What was that about?" he asked while he looked at me with that cute easy but perfect smile.

I was honest with him when I said "I don't really know." I really didn't know all that went through my mind was what was gonna happen at the party and what I would wear.

The late bell rang as our young teacher Mr.Sheehan(Ed Sheeran) entered the room. Some giggles came from some of the girls as I rolled my eyes. I didn't know why girls found him so attractive but I didn't care. To be honest I didn't like anyone at the time.

I looked over at Cody one last time before I took out my notebook and completed the drill silently. Mr.Sheeran told us to get into groups of two. Rebekah and Genny were partners, Sarah and Niall were partners and Harry and Ansel were partners. I sighed and then completely unexpectedly Cody asked me to be his partner. I agreed and we finished our project before anyone else so we just talked about the party.

My last two periods also had Cody and his friends in the class but he left them and walked me to class and sat with me. The whole bus ride consisted of me thinking about Cody.
