Louis pov

Ok I have 3 days till the party and I have to tell Abby how I feel. I know just the way to tell her too. I'm going to set up a romantic candlelight dinner on her back porch with her favorite dinner, steak with mashed potatoes and green beans.

I layed in her bed thinking about her all day. How she smiled, how insecure she was and how she talked to me about anything. I soon realized how long I've been waiting to kiss those soft pink lips.

Abby's pov

Louis dropped me off at school today and said that we needed to talk after school. I nodded and walked into school and talked with Rebekah until I found Sarah. "Where have you been? You haven't been to practice in a while." I asked as she just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. "I'm going to kick her off the team if she screws up one more time!" I told Rebekah as we walked to our lockers to prepare for first period social studies.

We got to class and Harry was sitting on my desk with his bag laying on Rebekah's desk that was next to mine. He smiled at us and I saw a hint of joy in his emerald green eyes. I smiled awkwardly and asked him to get up. He did but then sat at the desk in the other side of me. I tensed up and then our teacher Mr.Tatum (Channing Tatum) walked in.

Class went as usual and so did the rest of my day. Cody and Harry were fighting over me all day which was weird. I sat next to Rebekah during lunch and Cody sat in the other side of me and Harry in front of me. The whole lunch period they started at me and gave each other evil grins. I became suspicious but let it roll of my shoulders.

Louis picked me up from school and I asked him what he wanted to talk about. He told me awful news. "I'm sure your wondering why I've been staying with you for a while." I nodded as he continued "My parents were in an accident and didn't survive and your mom said that I could stay with you guys" I started to tear up as he pulled me in close and told me that everything was ok I nodded and whipped the tears away. He informed me that more would be discussed during dinner I nodded and we drove home.

When we got home I went up stairs and started my homework but couldn't focus knowing that my second parents died. Louis noticed this and said in his calming voice with that perfect accent almost like Harry's "There in a better place now, love." I nodded as I closed my books and pushed them aside. He planted a light kiss on my forehead and I blushed.

Louis' pov

On the way home I told Abby about my parents and she cried. I just pulled her close and told her it was ok. She tried to do her homework but couldn't focus so I told her not to worry that my parents were in a better place now and then I screwed up and did something stupid. I kissed her forehead. I saw that she blushed so I just sat back down on her bed.

We sat in silence for what seemed like a millennium until the ringing of Abby's phone broke the silence. It was a short conversation and then she explained to me that her mom had to work late. It was now after 4:00 so I went down stairs and prepared our dinner. We were out on her decorated back porch by 5:15 and we sat and ate dinner.

We both finished our meals around the same time "It was amazing Louis! I didn't know you could cook." she complimented me as I nodded and cleared my thought. I stood up and took a deep breath and walked over to the perfect angel sitting in front of me. I took her hands and said "Abby I've known you all my life and I've always loved you as a friend but that love has turned into more." she looked at me with a confused look as I said "Abigail Nichole Burke I love you as more than friends." She frowned and stated with a saddened tone "Louis I can't do this I don't want to risk what we have now. I love you too but not know." I nodded because I understood where see was coming from but I was still crushed. She stood up and kissed me. At least I got to kiss those beautiful soft pink lips.
