Chapter 6: The Perfect Day

Abby's pov

I grabbed an Apple and sat on the couch to find a movie. Louis made coffee and we watched Haunting In Connecticut 1 and 2. When I got scared I buried my face into Louis and he whispered "Everything will be alright, love I'm here."  it calmed me down and I felt safe with him unlike anyone else. I loved how he wrapped me up in his body and the blanket to keep me warm. I also loved the way he held me, the way his hands draped over my body and how he would pull me in closer every time I flinched.

I really missed my dad and Louis kinda replaced him while he was on his business trip. My dad and I would watch movies and eat ice cream. He really was the best and the most important man in my life but when he wasn't there Louis was the most important.

When the credits hit to The Haunting in Connecticut 2 he looked down at me and said "What next?" I smiled and said "I don't know. I picked the movies it's your turn to pick." He thought about it for a few minutes and then got up and walked to the closet that had some blankets, towels and old board games.

Louis' pov

Abby told me to choose what to do next so I went to the closet at the end of the hall and grabbed our favorite board games we used to play as kids. She yelled from the living room "Louis what are you doing?" I told her that I would be back in a minute, grabbed the games and went back to the living room.

When she saw what I had in my hands her face lit up and that smile I loved so much spread across her face. I was beginning to love her as more than a friend and I was going to tell her today.

I walked over and sat on the floor in front of the coffee table she sat on the other side of me and smiled that big white smile that made me break. "What game first?" I asked her and she grabbed Shoots and Ladders We set up the game and played a round and just like when we were kids she beat me. "Be right back." I stated as I grabbed her mug and poured her another cup of coffee along with another for myself.

I gave Abby a mug and set mine on the table as she giggled and I draped a blanket around  her shoulders. I sat back down and grabbed the next game, Sorry Sliders. We started to play as we heard a buzz coming from her phone she looked at it and I guess texted who ever that was back and replaced the phone on the coffee table.

Abby's pov

He came back with the board games we played as kids! I smiled as I remembered all those times we would hang out and play board games over and over again. We played Shoots and Ladders first and I beat him. He left to get more coffee and then wrapped me in a blanket before starting to play Sorry Sliders.

My phone buzzed as I read a text from Rebekah that read Cody asked me and Sarah where you were and Harry asked me where you were. Where are you? I replied to her text and told her that I ditched with Louis cause my mom said I could. I replaced my phone on the coffee table and we finished the game and just like when we were kids Louis beat me. Sorry Sliders was his game and Shoots and Ladders was mine.

I turned on some music before he grabbed the Uno cards from the pile of the games. He dealt the cards and we played a never ending game that lasted and hour and a half until there was a knock on the door. I got up and answered the door and there stood Rebekah.

I stepped back as a gesture to let her in and she walked into my living room and plopped her self on the couch after giving me a quick hug and said hi to Louis. I introduced the two and they shook hands and I sat down next to Rebekah and asked her what's up. She replied "Nothing just wanted to stop by and say hi since I didn't get to talk to you today." She thought about something and then reached in her bag and pulled out a folder with my name on it. "I grabbed your school work and home work." She finally said after handing me the folder.

I thumbed through the papers and saw that I had a little math, science, Spanish, and english homework. I smiled and said "Thank you." She smiled to say your welcome and announced that she had to leave I gladly hoped off the couch and opened the door for her. I wanted this day to never end it was just perfect.

Louis' pov

Our game of Uno was cut short by a knock on the door. Abby answered it and it was a girl I had never seen before. She gave Abby a hug and sat on the couch and said hi to me. I smiled back and Abby introduced us. Her name was Rebekah.

When Abby asked her what she wanted she just said that she wanted to come by and I rolled my eyes she interrupted my perfect day with the perfect girl just to say hi.

It turns out that she also brought Abby's school work and home work. After Abby said thank you Rebekah left and I sighed of relief noting I still had time to tell Abby I loved her as more than friends. We sat down and finished our game but all I could think about was telling her and then I figured out how I was gonna do it.

a/n Hey guys but of a cliff hanger but you will find out what happens soon. Sorry to Rebekah for Louis attitude shame Louis. But hey he's in love give him a break.
