Last Night

Chapter 2: The Call

a/n: I realized that my first chapter was really short so hopefully this will make up for it. please don't kill me.....

I noticed my stop was coming up so I put on my bag and stood up to exit the bus. I walked a block to my house and noticed a very close friend sitting on my porch swing. I ran up to him and yelled "Louis!" he stood up to greet me. To my surprise (too many for one day) when he hugged me he picked me up and swung me around.

When I was back on my feet I asked him about his trip. He had just gotten back from Britain to see his family. He told me all about his trip till my mom came home from work and I realized I had to ask her a question she would almost never say yes to.

I walked down stairs from my room with Louis following me. My mother greeted us and that's when I sprung the question on her. "Mom, can I go to Cody's party in two weeks?" She smiled and hugged me real hard and tight and whispered "Yes, of cource you can go." My mouth dropped open and I said "OMG thank you thank you thank you!" She looked at me with tears in her eyes and said "My baby is growing up too fast!"

I told Louis to grab his keys and that we were going shopping. My mom gave me her credit card. We were on our way to the mall when I dialed Cody's number he answered and I told him the great news. I'm pretty sure I sounded to happy and desperate but I don't care.

We shopped for two hours and when we got home it was 6:00. I quickly ran upstairs and changed into my volley ball stuff. Louis drove me and we got there around.6:20 so I had ten minutes to get everything set up for practice since I was the captain of the varsity team. Everyone questioned my abilities because I was in 9th grade but I was a prodigy.

Sarah arrived at 6:25 to help set up. She was co-captian so she set up the drills while I put up the nets and added air to the deflated volley balls. The two.of us did everything together and were doubted a lot based on our grade. We both are captin or co-captin of the.volleyball team and started in the school play. We were also gonna be in the school talent show to sing.

Louis helped me set up the nets. I couldn't help but look at his muscular body and giggle.

When the rest of the team arrived we started with our game and tournament schedule. Then everyone split up and started drills like passing the ball, circle drills and self drills depending on their strengths and weaknesses.

Louis took me home and we watched a movie and crashed on the couch. I wake up to my alarm clock on my phone. I slowly got up from under Louis arm careful not to wake him up. I got dressed and ate breakfast. I was about to walk out of the door when I heard him say good morning.
