Last Night

Chapter 9: The party

a/n: sorry guys i was re rereading previous chapters and noticed a gazillion typos. I so sorry! Just to make things clear Abby is turning 16 and in 11th grade and Louis is turning 17 and in 12th grade online school. Sorry for any confusion!

Louis' pov

Rebekah's parents came down to see if Abby and Rebekah were going to school. Abby shook her head yes and Rebekah nodded along with Abby. "Can you give us a minute to talk about this please?" I asked and Rebekah's parents nodded and walked back upstairs. "Are you sure about this love?" I asked in a concerned way. She nodded grabbed a change of clothes, brush, tooth brush, toothpaste and her make up and got ready. I told Rebekah to inform her parents that they were going to school. I thought to myself about how strong and tough Abby is and how I'm in love with a bad ass. She came out of the bathroom in about 10 minutes and grabbed her bag and my sweatshirt.

Abby's pov

I decided to go to school so I grabbed some stuff and went into the bathroom and got ready. I grabbed my bag and Louis' sweatshirt that I've been using and went upstairs with Louis following me.

I was offered breakfast by Rebekah's parents but I turned it down and just walked out the door and sat on the steps on their porch. Louis came out a moment later with an Apple and a cup of coffee. He sat next to me and offered me the coffee I took it and drank a little bit of it. I was so stressed out and I had so many emotions in me that I didn't know what to do with. I pulled on Louis' sweatshirt and layed my head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed the top of my head. Rebekah came out moments later and said she was ready.

Louis helped me up and we all got in his car and drove to school. As we were getting out of the car Rebekah said that Louis could go back to her house and he nodded as he said "Alright girls have a good day I'll pick you up later. I love you baby!" I smiled as he handed me my bag and I shut the door.

All day I couldn't focus on anything but Louis and what my dad did to him. I didn't care what would happen to my dad or anything and I refused to let my self go crawling back to my mom after she let him kick Louis out. At lunch I found Harry and Cody sitting at the table I usually sit at so I walked over and sat down. Rebekah met me there and Cody asked me if I was still coming. I smiled and said "Of course. Why wouldn't I?" he shrugged and I checked my phone. I had 4 new text messages 3 from my mom and 1 from Louis. The messages from my mom read: I heard what happened. Is Louis ok?/ Are you ok?/When r u coming home. I blocked her number and read the text from Louis that read: The cops called me in to write a statement everything is ok with me hopefully your ok. I sent him a quick text saying: everything is fine love you!

Last night flashed through my mind and I shivered. Cody noticed and asked if I was ok. I nodded and just forked through my salad. Lunch was half over and I still hadn't eaten anything. I sat there silently as Rebekah Harry and Cody talked about the party. My stomach started hurting so I quietly grabbed my things and went to the nurse. Harry got up and ran after me and stopped me right out side of the cafeteria. "Whats wrong?" he asked "You haven't been yourself today." I looked away to keep the tears in as I said "I don't feel good and I'm just really stressed and tired." he nodded grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the nurse's office. "I can walk on my own." I said as he nodded and kept walking. "You should probably stay home tonight then."he said as I stopped walking and said "I need a distraction and I don't need you telling me what to do!" I realized what I had said and let a tear roll down my face as I apologized. He said it was ok and that he understood that I was stressed and upset. "I know what happened last night." he said. I looked up and said "You do? How?" he sat up against the wall and said "My dad is a cop and told me everything. He can't hurt you or Louis anymore. You don't have to worry." I nodded and sat next to him. I loved to listen to Harry's voice it was so deep dark mysterious and british. It was really hot just like Louis'.

"If your looking for a distraction come with me Saturday and we can spend the day together and we can just talk." he said as I nodded and wiped the tears away and I said "Sounds fantastic where do you want to meet and when." he laughed and said "Just let me know what works for you tonight."I nodded as the bell rang and Harry hoped up and held out his hands to help me. I took them and stood up I wiped off my jeans and grabbed my bag as we walked to class together.

At dismissal Harry walked me to my locker and waited for me to get my things. Rebekah met me at my locker so Harry walked us both out. Harry and I talked about the party the whole walk to Louis car and then I saw him, a police officer. "Louis?" I said and then Harry said "Dad?" my heart nearly stopped and I walked up to Louis and hugged him. The officer said "Its ok Abby I just want to talk to you about last night ok?" I nodded and held back tears. Harry noticed this and said "Dad can we do this later? Abby has been through a lot lately." his dad shook his head no and asked me questions like Where were you last night around 5pm? Where you with Louis Tomilson? I answered all the questions truthfully and Harry hugged me and said that he would see me later. I nodded and got in the car and wiped my tears away.

We went straight to Rebekah's and got ready for the party in that was in a couple hours. I straightened my hair and left it down with a perfect brown smokey eye with pink highlights to match my dress. I put on the dress and shoes after painting my nails. I decided on a french manicure. I switched from my scholl bag to a small silver clutch and put my phone and other necessities like gum and a hair tie in it. I grabbed my jean jacket and put it on as I topped my look off with a nude lipstick.

I went up stairs and found Louis talking to Rebekah's parents. When layed eyes on me his mouth dropped open and he was speechless. I smiled and said "Good thats what I was going for!" Louis laughed as he stood up and said "You look beautiful baby!" he kissed me and his soft pink lips made me dizzy. I went up to Rebekah's room and left Louis down stairs I knocked before I came in and found Rebekah in this pretty purple strapless dress with her hair curled and in a bun. "You look marvelous my dear!" she replied "As do you." we laughed and went down stairs and got ready to leave.

Louis stood up and said "Shall we ladies?" he held out his arm and I interlocked his and mine and we left after saying goodbye to Rebekah's parents. We were all quiet the whole car ride there. We got there and I unbuckled my seat belt and reached for the door handle but Louis grabbed my arm to stop me. "Can I help you?" I said in a jokingly way. He smiled and said "Have fun and don't do anything your going to regret. If you need me call me ok?" I nodded and kissed him then got out of the car. Rebekah disappeared probably to go find Genny or Lindsay and I just walked in and tried to find Cody or Harry. I walked through the kitchen and saw Sarah with this punk looking guy I've never seen before. They were drinking shots I rolled my eyes and kept searching until I found him. I walked up behind his dark figure and said "Hey!" Harry turned around and said "Hey! Glad you came!" he turned back to his friend and said that he would be back. He looked at me and bit his lip "What's wrong?" I asked but he shook his head and said "Cody was looking for you but before I take you to him what time are we meeting tomorrow?" I looked up at him and shrugged and said "We can meet at the dinner by the school." he nodded and said "10:30 work for you?" I nodded and he added "Great see you then!" then he took my hand and lead me through the house passing intoxicated teenagers dancing to loud music to the backyard where Cody was standing alone up against the fence. You could still hear the loud music from outside. Harry pointed to the lonesome figure I nodded took a deep breath and walked over to him.

a/n: so ummm yea the party....should Louis have gone? How am I doing? Well anyways the party will continue in the next chapter!
