Last Night

Chapter 16: Gone

a/n: hi I can't count so this is the real chapter 16 and sorry for the wait I've had so much going on and I've been grounded a gazillion times. I am soooooo sorry for the really long wait on this chapter but on the bright side I'm making a new book in a couple of days so I'll keep you posted!

Abby's pov

I woke up at 2:34am the morning of the court date and couldn't go back to sleep so I stayed up. Shortly after 3:00am Louis woke up and said "Nervous?" and I slowly nodded but I felt a lot better when he lifted me up and placed me on his lap. He said as calmly as he could "What ever happens I will always love you and do you really think that they can keep me from you?" I smiled and leaned in towards his lips and planted a gentle kiss on the before sitting back up. "Umm where do you think your going? Get those lips back over here." I faked a grown and said "Fine." in the snottiest way possible and we both laughed before kissing for what seemed like an eternity. When he finally pulled his lips away from mine both pairs were red and swollen from all the kissing. "Damn your beautiful." was all he could say and I smiled before kissing him again. It seemed to be my drug, my lips on his moving in sync.

Louis and I missed and talked till the sun was rising so we knew we had to get ready. I took a quick shower put on some jeans and a sweater with my uggs and was putting on my make up when Louis came out wearing a blue button down and jeans. I quickly put my half dry hair in a bun and walked out the door while holding Louis' hand. I took my spot in his passenger seat where I belonged but I was afraid that it would be the last time I would sit here with him. We arrived at the court house and hour before the hearing to have time to find a parking spot and time to go through security. We met his lawyer in one of the conference rooms and she walked us through the typical procedures of court hearing and said that she would do what ever she could to help us but due to our age couldn't promise anything.

My parents arrived and just to piss them off even more I stood on my tippy toes to reach Louis' lips and I kissed him and he kissed me back making the kiss deep, long and passionate. I could hear my parents snickering and thought how just a couple weeks ago my mom was pro-Louis and Abby but know she was against it. We entered the court room and were met by the judge. He asked us all the questions Louis' lawyer said he would and the same for my parents and then he made his decision. My heart sank as I heard the words Abigail is to move back in with her parents and not to see Louis again. My parents hugged at there achievement as my knees hit the floor and the tears started to pour from my eyes. Louis knelt in front of me as he kissed me and said "Abby just remember that so love you so much. I'll figure this out just don't give up." and before I knew it I was being pulled away from my one and only true love. I was kicking and screaming but it was no use my parents got what they wanted and I was heart broken.

Louis' pov

I tried to be strong for Abby but on the inside my heart was shattered into a thousand tiny pieces. I told her that I would figure it out but to be honest I didn't know what I was going to do. We were allowed an hour to pack all of our stuff and say our goodbyes. We met at Rebekah's and hugged instantly as we walked down into the basement in silence Abby's parents and my lawyer left us. Abby reached for a bag and she picked up my sweatshirt and she hugged she slowly pulled it away from her chest and handed it to me and I simply said "Keep it."she nodded and slipped it on and continued to cry. She took off the necklace I had given to her and placed it in my hand and said "I want you to have this." I nodded and tried to keep my own tears in as I placed it in my pocket and continued packing.

After minutes of silence Abby said "I'm going to miss you so much. I don't want you to leave." all I could choke out was "Me too." I pulled her into my chest and tested my chin on top of her head and all of could smell the fruity shampoo she uses. I sighed and the tears I had been holding back began to fall. It was official we were both broken. We continued to pack in silence until my lawyer came down and told us our hour was up. We were both still crying and I pulled her in for one last hug and I kissed her soft pink lips for possibly the last time and we carried our stuff upstairs. She put her stuff in the back of her mom's car and I put my stuff in my car. I walked up to her ignoring my lawyer and her parents and I hugged and kissed her one last time and whispered "Goodbye for now. I love you so much Abby just don't forget that." I heard her sniffle before she said "I love you so much Louis." and we separated. She got in her mom's car and the drove off. I cried as loud as I have ever cried before. I felt like a huge piece of me was gone so I just sat in Rebekah's driveway twirling her necklace around my fingers as I looked at the passenger seat and remembered all the times my beautiful angle sat in that seat.

An hour or so later I finally started my car and drove to all our favorite spots to hang out and cried some more before ending up on my best friends.front porch. I knocked on the door and Zayn answered. He saw that I was upset and let me in immediately. "What's wrong lad?" he said as I sat on his couch and took out the necklace again. "She's gone...her parents won." was all I could say. He nodded understanding the circumstances said "If you need a place to stay your more than welcome to stay here." and I nodded not removing my eyes from the silver chain and heart with a smaller diamond heart in the center. I kept picturing it on her neck and I just couldn't take my mind off of her.

Abby's pov

I unpacked all my stuff and I just played down in my bed with his sweatshirt on and no matter what I did I couldn't get him off my mind.
