Eddie: "every breath you take every smile you fake I'll be watching you..."
I tapped my foot and sang to myself as I washed the dishes. I looked out the window to see wild flowers growing in the summer heat and kids biking up and down the sidewalk. A hand squeezed my shoulder and broke me from my trance
Sonia: Eddie dear, I'm leaving now. Don't forget to do your laundry and stay in. We don't want your allergies worked up.
Eddie: Yes ma
She kissed my cheek and left out the front door leaving a faint smell of perfume.
I wiped my hands off on the dish rag and sighed. I want to go outside so bad. I'm hardly ever let out unless it's to get mail or to go to the pharmacy. But moms right, my allergies will start up.
I went up to my neat bed room and laid on my bed. I turned on my tv and watched my favorite movie, The Fault in our Stars. It's a romance movie, I tend to watch those a lot. My mom of course doesn't approve but I love the story line. When will I find love? Is it even possible for me?
My mom always told me that I only need her. I never argue back because she hasn't given me a reason. She cooks for me, cleans the house and buys everything I need. I looked out my window once again, daydreaming. I want to be able to go outside and play in the sun. I'm 16 and don't even know what it's like to lay in the grass. I want to go to public school and be like normal kids.
I looked at my watch and decided it was time to wash my laundry. I sang to myself as I skipped down my stairs to the laundry room. I loaded in the dirty clothes and I picked up my gray sweater. I felt something tickle my finger and looked down to see a spider on my hand. I threw the sweater and screamed, mindlessly running outside. I stood on the side walk in front of my house and froze realizing what I just did. I felt the summer heat on my skin and cement below my feet.
Eddie: oh no...
I got chills up my spine just thinking about what my mother would say if she seen me outside. I heard a voice to my right, coming down the side walk,
"Watch out!"
