I have a clearer image of what I want to do now, there will be romance but I'm not sure if I want it to be the main focus, or if I want Alex to end up with any of the guys. Becoming a member of BTS would probably feel like you're entering a family so I'd just find it strange for her to start dating one of them.

Just repeating it: THERE WILL BE ROMANCE <3

I'm excited to start writing some cute little awkward scenes but don't expect the boys to start wanting to kiss Alex, they genuinely believe she is a boy, in this story the guys aren't gay :p

Alex stormed out of the studio and ripped the business card out of her pocket, that woman was probably waiting for her call, hoping that the nineteen year old would take the bait of fame and fortune. Alex wouldn't fall for a scam.

She passed a bin on her way home and held the card out to throw it away, she hesitated and with increasing anger at herself for holding onto hope, put the card back into her pocket.

She let out a yell and stomped her foot on the ground in desperation. She so badly wanted to believe Su-Min, she wanted to be acknowledged as a dancer and she wanted to be able to support her family.

The only reason she had issues with her parents was because they were all stressed out about their financial situation. It's painful to think back to when they all used to be a normal family. Her mum didn't go off to work and ignore everyone, spending her money on habits she formed due to stress, her dad wasn't working long hours, getting barely any sleep. Her older sister, Violet, didn't go out every night to forget about her parents and her failed dream. George didn't find the life they lived now 'normal'.

She needed to squish the hope she had, it was too good to be true. Why would someone claiming to be a scout come to that small studio? All she needed to do was focus on getting by and on raising George into a good respectable boy, most of the time it was just them at home unless she went out to the dance studio.

Alex managed to get home without kicking a pole. When she burst into the house she brushed past George in her rush to go to her room and stomp around in anger.

When she was less frustrated she looked around the house and realized how messy it actually was, something smelt bad and there was dirt all over the ground. Rolling up her sleeves she started putting things in the right place and took the bags of rubbish out of the house. She spent hours finding every speck of dust and cleaning it away, in her mind if she could control how clean her house was she could control her emotions.

The obsessive cleaning helped her think straight and she began to consider the offer of the woman she had met. If all she wanted to do was talk for an hour about a chance at becoming a dancer what was the harm in listening. It's not like anyone else would find her and tell her she pretty much was guaranteed success.

Alex groaned and lay down on her bed, her muscles hurt from the intense dancing she did to that Kpop song, cleaning didn't help, and just the thought of the intricate steps she learned from the video made her grin. She began to hum the words to herself and was surprised when she remembered how to sing it, both in Korean and English.

Su-Min told her she was from Korea, did that mean she would get to dance like that?

Her eyes wondered to the bunched up jacket in the corner, she approached the jacket as if it were an animal and gently took out the scrunched up business card. Turning it over and inspecting it didn't give anything away, it looked real and that made Alex mad. She was getting hopeful, that was never a good thing. It hits you harder when it doesn't turn out to be true.
