Tender Boy

~ Chapter 5 ~

Lol, so I know that's Suga up there but like imagine that's Alex's hair.

It looks hell cool... new hair idea? Jk I don't have the balls to cut it that short (Or the face)

The smile was wiped from the hairdressers face and Alex quickly corrected herself, "I mean like, what did you do to get it to look this way," she mentally scolded herself, "I love it, seriously. You did an amazing job." To back up her statement Alex grinned and did a thumbs up.

"Awww really? I love it too, you look so sexy," the girls eyes widened, "Don't tell my boss I said that, it slipped out."

Alex began to laugh, "Thank you, that means a lot."

"How much do we owe you?" Su-Min questioned. She began walking off with the girl to the front desk and left Alex to stare at herself in the mirror.

She raised her hand to her hair again and stroked it in wonder. When she moved her head back and forth and eyed herself she could almost convince herself she was a Kpop star. That was a new feeling.

"Alex, we're leaving now!"

The girl got up from her chair and turned away from the stranger in the mirror. Moving away seemed a lot more real now but the nerves she felt before were replaced with a sense of anticipation. She would be starting her new life soon, sure she would have to, kind of, lie to the whole world but she would manage fine.

Alex's shirt was soaked through while she tried to leave her house, not only did she have her whole family there to see her off, her friends had all come down to wish her the best.

She had four heads on her shoulders sobbing and a small child gripping onto her leg preventing her from moving, "Don't you fucking dare forget to call, you heard me?!" Maddi was furiously wiping the tears off her face and Stela detached herself from Alex and moved to hug Maddi.

"I'll miss you... so... much" Georgia could barely finish a sentence while she hiccuped and sobbed.

Ellie was crying but she controlled herself, she made eye contact with Alex and smiled a sad smile, "I love you, don't forget us. Watch Ant Man and the Wasp and think of me."

George was sniffling and didn't fully understand why she had to go, "What about games night? Will you be back for that?"

"No my baby Georgie, I'm going away for a while," Alex crouched next to him so they were on the same level, "I'll miss you, don't make a mess while I'm gone, you hear me? I expect a clean house, I'll send back gifts for you if you behave well for Vi." She ruffled his hair for the last time in a while and her heart broke to see his distressed face.

Violet picked him up and cuddled him, nodding at Alex, "Make me proud babe."

Her parents were the last ones to speak to her and they all stood around awkwardly. "Make us proud too, I know we don't spend much time together anymore but... you'll be missed."

Alex shed some tears and hugged her parents for the first and last time in forever, "I love you."

Her mum started crying, "We love you too dear, my sweet little petal. Gone into the world, let's see where the wind takes you."
