Tender Boy

~ Chapter 11 ~

"Alex, why didn't you tell us Jungkook heard you sing." Taehyung whined, "That is so unfair! You'd better let us hear you today."

BTS were sitting in the car on the way to BigHit, because they had more or less gotten the hang of the dances today was the day they started doing the vocals for the new songs.

It was agreed that they wouldn't change the songs to give Alex parts but she would learn how to sing them in Korean and English, She would perform them during the concert solo and any music Bangtan created from now on would have parts for Alex.

Namjoon ruffled Alex's hair, "I heard you can rap too, I'm excited to see that. Oh my God, we could rap in English together for the American tour!"

Jungkook wrapped his arm around the girl, "Surely you'll sing a duet with me? We don't talk anymore."

Alex didn't understand the reference, "Kookie, we are literally talking right now..."

"The song Lex, seriously?"

"Ahh, like we used to dooOOooOO?""

Jin couldn't help but chuckle, this turned into a full on laugh and he had to gasp for breath a few minutes later. Alex just stared at him, unimpressed.

"It really wasn't that funny Jin."

They were all standing around in the recording studio and encouraging Alex to go in and sing for them. Alex was nervous and put it off until Su-Min and PD-nim entered.

"Alex! What's wrong? I know for a fact that you can sing, go on." Su-Min pushed Alex towards the door, "Sing DNA in English!"

Alex went red and hid her eyes behind her hair, "I'm really not that good, dancing is my strong suit..."

She was met with nine voices telling her to shut up and sing, the were all kidding around and cheered when she finally entered the booth.

"This is going to be good, shit ARMY would want to see this..." Yoongi had taken it upon himself to film anything to do with Alex so ARMY could see how great she was as a person.

There was silence as Alex put on her headphones and prepared herself to sing. The song DNA had turned into something special for her and when she sung it memories of Perth came to her. She really needed to phone home, Maddi had probably sworn to kill Alex at this point but Alex really hadn't had time.

Tonight she would make time.

With that in mind she took a breath and heard the music start playing.

The boys were shocked and instantly fell in love with her voice, she really was a great edition to the group. To the boys, Alex had a very feminine voice (A/N duh) Yoongi and Namjoon were hit with inspiration for new songs and Hoseok just wanted create an emotional dance to compliment the angelic vocals.

When she was finished she opened her eyes and saw ecstatic faces, Jungkook and Taehyung were jumping around and Jimin and Jin were giggling.

PD-nim walked to her when she left the booth and patted her back, "This is going to work well, I heard you learned all the dances as well." He rolled his eyes, "You have weeks to do it, it really wasn't necessary. If anyone else tries to push you too hard come to me."

He grinned down at her, "You should look online some time Alex, you are literally the talk of the world. You've been on the news, newspapers, YouTube. Your stage name is still trending on Twitter's hashtag; '#Supernova, #BTSNova'" He winked and nudged her, "There are Fan pages and Fanart too, I've seen quite a few Fanfics too."
