Life is like a turning wheel.         

Spinning, rotating, never stopping-  

It will always have its way.

Until it stops, at the tip of your heel,       

Screeching, screaming,        

Never to move again.

Maybe I should've oiled it better.       

Maybe I should've appreciated it better.     

For, when it's gone,                

There won't be another way. 

Life is like a turning wheel,      

You'd think it never stops.                  

 Spinning, shaking, the wheels turning,        

Sometimes you wished they'd break.

But here's some advice, 

 I've done it too.

It's not so easy,

But you'll get through one day.

Life is like a turning wheel,               

It shakes and creaks at times, 

and has its ups and downs.

So remember that you aren't perfect.

Everyone seems to be.

But deep down, underneath,

There's a whole new person to be seen.
