It was another regular day at the kindergarten, but not for a certain ash blonde haired boy. Both teachers and his classmates stared in awe as small bright explosions popped from his small hands. "You could be a hero with a flashy quirk like that, Katsuki!"
Today, Bakugou Katsuki had just gotten his quirk, the little something that made anyone special and unique in their own way. The said boy showed it with pride, bathing in the endless compliments that he was given.
"So cool!"
"That's so awesome, Kacchan!"
That's when he realized something; they were right. He was amazing. He was better than everyone else. And he was going to prove them exactly that.
But then, he noticed someone sitting alone at the far corner of the classroom, paying more attention at the table in front of them and didn't even bother to know what the commotion is all about. To say that he felt insulted was an understatement. He finally got his quirk- an awesome one too! So he's going to show them just that.
"Oi!" He yelled, thinking that it would gain their attention; well, it didn't.
'The heck? Are they deaf or what...?'
Now that he was standing right in front of them beside the table, he saw what they were so intently looking at; a bug. A freaking bug.
Slightly confused and disturbed, he slammed his hand against the table to get their attention, making the insect flutter away pathetically. "OI!"
At the sudden action, the kid looked up at Katsuki with pursed lips and hooded eyes.
Now that he got a closer look, he realized that it was a girl. Stray (H/C) hair strands framed the kid's face, chubby cheeks, gentle features yet, dull (E/C) eyes. Creepy.
"Huh?"
Her voice was rough and Katsuki cringed. Does this kid not drink water or something? For a little girl, she sounds a little scary.
Shaking away those thoughts, he grinned proudly. "Finally! Did you see my quirk?! It's super coool! Look!" He even set off tiny explosions on his hands for emphasis.
But instead of the awestruck look he expected the girl to have, she just stared at him with a stoic expression.
