Baby On Board

Xavier POV

I was awoken by loud groans and screaming. I guess Kyle and I had fell asleep in the woods because it was early in the morning when I woke up. I turned to Kyle who was screaming loudly and gripping on to my shirt. Her stomach was HUGE. She put out her arms grabbing my neck and pulling me closer to her. "Xavier it hurts so bad" she cried.

I felt so bad because there was nothing I could do about her pain. I started rubbing her stomach, comforting her and shhh'ing her so no one would hear us out here. And as I rubbed she cried into my chest and clung onto my shirt. There was only one thing to do........one person to call that I knew could help me through this.

Connor POV

*Last Night*

After Xavier carried Kyle out of the cave I ran over to the cell where McKenzie was still chained up crying. "I promise I'll come back for you baby, I love you so much" I had never told her that before, but I do. I love her a lot. If I had any way to get her out right now I swear I would. I then ran out of the cave and covered it with the leaves so no one would see and get in.

I followed Lucy's scent farther into the woods and found her standing in plain sight. She must have known I would follow her here, that's why she let her scent go free. "I knew you'd come, no one can resist this" she said. I had to play along with her or else I'd never be able to save McKenzie. "you're right I just couldn't resist" I said using my speed to grab her by the waist.

She let out a soft moan biting her bottom lip, "I knew you'd come to your senses" she said running her finger across my bottom lip. She tried to kiss me but I threw her on the ground and got on top of her. "you must really miss all of this" she said. I put my finger to her lips indicating that I wanted her to shut up. I sent soft kisses down from her neck to her chest knowing she'd become horny and weak.

I then started unzipping her suit still kissing her. Within 2 seconds I grabbed the key and twisted her neck. I felt bad for putting my hands on a girl, but I did it to save the one I love. So it was worth it. I quickly ran back to the cave and went into it. I went over to the cage and unlocked it hugging McKenzie. Her scars started to heal and clear up. "hug me after you unlock my arms" she said.

I unlocked her arms and freed her. I hugged her tightly kissing her and saying 'I love you' over and over again. I carried her out of the cave and home to where she belonged. I laid her down on the bed and rested beside her. I didn't want her out of my arms.

Kyle POV

I was in so much pain it was unexplainable. I knew Xavier was doing all he could to help me, but nothing was working. All I could do was scream and pray that the pain wasn't my baby dying. Xavier got up, pulled his phone out and started dialing a number. I had no clue who he was calling but I was hoping it was 911.

I then heard him say "thanks mom". He called his mom to come help me. I was excited to meet his mom but the pain took over my excitement. Xavier walked over to me and picked me up in bridal style. He had to carry me all the way back home since he hadn't brought his car. He opened the door and placed me on the couch.

He started pacing the room rubbing his hands together nervously. Did he not want me to meet his mom? was he worried that his mom wouldn't like me? how come he never introduced us before? I know he hasn't met my mother, but he's met my father at least.Soon we heard a soft knocking at the door. Xavier walked over to it and opened it.

A short black-haired lady entered the room giving Xavier a tight hug. I could tell they haven't seen each other in a while. But why? She walked over to me and gave me a big smile. "Hi, I'm Theresa Holt, nice to meet you Kyle" she said. "h-hi" I said hesitantly. I was still in lots of pain. "mom quit the small talk, she's in pain" Xavier yelled. "alright fiesty" she flagged him with her hand.

She started feeling my stomach and pressing on it a few times causing it to hurt more. She widened her eyes. I got worried. "she's needs to deliver" she said looking at Xavier. "but she's not due until next week" he said coming closer to me. "I know but if she doesn't deliver now the left over platinum will get to the baby and kill it, her body is surprisingly taking the platinum well" she explained.

On the other hand, I was scared of delivering the baby. I didn't know if i was going to have a girl or boy or what I would name he/she. Theresa then started striping me from my pants and underwear, which was really awkward considering she was a woman and my husband's mother. "go get me a towel"she demanded. Xavier ran upstairs and came back down with a towel.

She put the towel under my bottom. "now when I say push, I need you to push as hard as you can" she said opening my legs. The pain just got worst as I pushed harder and harder. "come on Kyle you're doing good just push a little harder" she said, and with that I pushed with all of my might, I was ready for this baby to come out. I soon heard a baby's cry fill the room. Xavier came over and cut the umbilical cord. Theresa washed the baby off, covered it in a towel, and handed it to me.

"congratulations, its a boy" she said.

I looked at the baby in my arms. He looked so much like Xavier. I started to tear up, but they were tears of joy. I looked into his eyes, they were bright blue just like Xavier's. I rubbed my hand gently across his head but I stopped when I looked at his ear.

He had a mark on it just like mine and my grandmother's. How could that be, only witches in our family had it.

He can't be a witch its impossible. I then looked at his hands and there were small blue sparkles forming on his fingers then disappeared.

I just stared at him for a while trying to think about what I was going to do about this. What was I even going to name him?
