The next couple of weeks were extremely hectic. After the gossip vlog interview, the boys, especially Luke, attracted a lot of attention and more interviews were organised on top of the other interviews and performances. So, the boys were very busy, not just with them, but, also with writing the new songs and recording for a new album that still won't be out for quite a while.
Meanwhile, I had to make sure I always had spare supplies for the boys incase I ran out during an interview or photo shoot. So overall, we were all very tired and Luke and I literally had no time for each other. The only time I saw him was at breakfast, in the car going to the interviews or doing his make up and hair at the interviews. So, we were always with the other boys. Not exactly romantic or alone time.
However, tonight would be the one chance we had to have some alone time after the last couple of weeks. It was now the eighth of November and since the boys were busy working on bonfire night, we decided that we would do it tonight. There were no interviews, parties, photo shoots or rehearsals and recording today, so, it was the best time to do it. I loved bonfire night, so, I was really excited to be able to spend it with the boys, particularly Luke.
Ashton and Michael had left this morning to go get some fireworks and lets just say that after seeing how many they got, I'm quite nervous about what the woman at the till thought about their plans to use them. They said that there was a huge sale on them in the shop, so, they grabbed as many as they could. Every type of firework I could name was there: a Catherine wheel, rockets, sparklers (not really a firework, but, still counting it), those box ones that you set off on the ground like little sparkly bombs, the puffy smoke ones that fly in the air and a load of others that looked really cool.
At this point in time, I was making some dinner for everyone, it was only chicken wraps with salad, but, still nice, whilst the boys sulked outside as they watched Katherine's husband set up the fireworks. Even though she doesn't work on saturdays, she came by after she had been shopping to drop some "healthy" food off, because, (in her words) "Those boys will be rolling down the hill soon." When she arrived, she found the boys wrestling in the garden as a tie breaker for who will get to set up and set off the fireworks. She then said if they couldn't behave like adults, then they weren't going to be adults and asked her husband to join us to set up and set off the fireworks.
"So, you and Luke?" Katherine raised her eyebrows at me as she chopped some peppers and I shredded some carrots.
Before I met Katherine, from the boys description of her and what was in the booklet, I had the impression that she was this sixty year old stereotypical house keeper. No. She was in her late twenties, brown hair, green eyes, olive skin tone and about five foot six. Her husband owned his own business that had been passed down to him by his parents and so they lived comfortably. But, she said that she needed a little something just to fill her time a bit so she wasn't completely bored and here she was.
"What about me and Luke?" I smiled, focusing on the carrots.
"Well, come on, I need details," she winked.
I laughed, "There are no details really, but, if you want, some time in the week, we can have a girly night here and I will tell you all?" I offered to her.
"Sounds great."
"What about you and Dan? How did you two meet?" I asked her. They seemed like such a cute couple.
"We knew each from when were little. Our uncles worked together and so at parties and such we always saw each other and got on really well. He's a couple of years older than me so when he left for university, we kind of lost touch and then met again when I was about twenty at a family party and it all took off from there," she chuckled.
