"Is this...Cuphead?" You spoke up quietly, your voice tinged with confusion as you looked around at the cartoony surroundings.

While everything was still dark and creepy, the scenery looked like it came from the old styled game.

"God I hate this." Felix muttered bitterly under his breath.

"Well look who's finally decided to show up."

You felt your blood turn to ice you saw Anti step out of the shadows, casually twirling a bloodstained knife in hand.

"Jack-"

"I'm not Jack! You're weak, just like him. I'm not....I refuse to lose." Anti cut Phil off.

"Why are we here?" Dan interjected with a confused frown.

"His anger is the strongest here, making it extremely easy to control his pathetic body." Anti sneered triumphantly.

"Just let Jack go!" Adira snapped bravely, taking a step forward to glare the terrorling in the face.

"You're a brave little brat aren't you?" Anti chuckled coldly.

"What if I promised you what you desire? I know how much you want to be independent since your parents both abandoned you, so I can let you do just that. You can join me and do whatever the hell you want with no repercussions." Anti added, attempting to sway the girl's allegiance.

"Adira, you don't have to go with him to do what you want!" Jessie called out.

"Ah, and you. I can protect you from the darkness, you won't have to worry about anyone else trying to hurt you ever again." Anti offered.

"Leave them alone!" Yael barked demandingly.

"I know you all, you can't beat me! Yael, I can protect you from heartbreak and help you get revenge on the bitch that cheated on you." Anti continued.

"You won't sway us, we're Heart Heroes!" You cried.

"(Y/N). I've heard Mark talk so highly of you and the progress you've made. You'd make a wonderful asset." Anti remarked.

"There's no way in hell we'd join you!" Middy protested.

"Even if I promised you that no one would ever make fun of you for being shy?" Anti taunted, causing her to fall silent.

"I can give you all what you want if you join me. We can take over all of the Hubs and become the nightmares that people fear." Anti declared.

"No, we just want Jack back!" You shouted furiously, refusing to let him change your loyalty.

"Oh I think not. You see, I've learned a thing or two from Dark. Direct confrontation won't work, but I know what will." Anti replied cockily.

"Where's Mark and Tim?" Felix spoke up.

"Well wouldn't you like to know?" Anti chuckled coldly.

"If you want to save them so badly, then you'll have to get through me." Anti taunted.

"You're outnumbered!" Dan pointed out.

"Oh am I?" Anti snickered in amusement before abruptly growing to be the size of a giant, a fistful of strings appearing in each hand.

"Go!" Anti barked, sending waves of people running blindly towards you.

You noticed that their eyes were all green and that their faces had no expression, setting you on edge.

"Those are the people from Jack's Hub!" Felix whispered in shock as they grew closer.

"I-I can't kill them!" You stammered, unwilling to kill another person.
