I just realized that I screwed up the dream requests for spookyeevee2 and Believehope2004 so I apologize! But hey, at least I got the characters right I guess. Anyway, ignore my rambling and read on!
"Are you all ready for tomorrow in case Mark still doesn't show up?" Tyler questioned you and your friends once everyone stepped through the portal.
"Yes." You nodded, hoping that he and Jack would be alright.
"Felix, Dan, Phil, and PJ are also going with you, only because we don't know what's happened and we don't want anyone to get hurt." Bob interjected.
"We don't need help." Adira proclaimed boldly.
"I don't agree, especially if Mark's and Jack's lives are on the line." Jessie interjected worriedly.
"I second that." Middy spoke up tentatively.
"Me too." Yael added.
"Fine, but I can do it myself!" Adira snapped defensively.
"If you keeping acting like that, I won't let you go at all." Wade warned Adira sternly.
"I dare you to try. You know what, fuck this." Adira huffed before disappearing, leaving you stunned.
"What's up with her?" Jessie chimed in with a confused frown.
"She hates accepting help since she thinks it makes her look weak." You explained wearily.
"You all up for one more mission?" Ethan asked the group.
"Yeah-wait, my alarm. Shit, I gotta go." Jessie explained before disappearing.
"I'm technically supposed to be awake now since I have class, so I should go to before I get into too much trouble." Yael added before he too left.
Middy only shrugged apologetically before disappearing as well, leaving only you.
"I'll go." You volunteered, hoping you'd be okay if you went alone.
"Only if you think it's a good idea." Bob cut in.
This is a terrible idea, You thought before opening your mouth to answer.
"I'll be fine." You promised him.
"Then stock back up your inventory and get ready for the second chime." Tyler instructed.
You nodded before going off to visit Wilford, hoping you could upgrade your weapons.
"Well what can I do for ya? Looking for a new stabby object?" Wilford prompted with his usual slur.
"Actually, I was hoping to get an upgrade." You corrected him.
"I see...are you going on a solo mission per chance?" Wilford inquired.
"Um, yeah actually." You admitted.
"Then I have a temporary solution for you!" Wilford declared before handing over his infamous golden pistol.
"It can kill any small enemy or boss in one shot, but it only has six shot. I suggest you use them carefully." Wilford advised as you admired the pistol with wide eyes.
"Thank you." You gasped in awe, giving the pink mustached man a hug from over the counter before going off to visit Octodad and restock your supplies.
Once you felt prepared and stood by the stage, you heard the second chime sound, causing all of your confidence to sink through the floor.
"You'll do great, just smile always and know that I believe in you." Tyler winked with a slight smirk, bolstering your confidence before you hesitantly stepped into the portal to face whatever nightmare awaited you.
