The empty music room was silent except for the sound emanating from the hallway. Kids were moving about, finding their next classes. Chanyeol had a free period. He strummed, finding the beat he made for himself. He didn't sing this time. Just recorded the guitar's sound. He felt his glasses sliding down his face but he couldn't move to fix them. The door suddenly opened and he moved quickly to pause the recording.

"Oh, hey, Channie." It was the girl from the party.

"Hey," he still didn't know her name, but he recognized her heart shaped face and her curvy frame.

"It's Joy." She chuckled, reminding him. "What are you playing?"

"It's nothing." He took the strap off of his neck and started putting the instrument back.

Joy stood back from where she'd been standing in front of him and waited with her hands in her pockets for him to finish putting the guitar away.

"I hope I'm not interrupting." She furrowed her eyebrows in concern.

"Oh, it's okay. I need to go anyway." He offered her a lopsided smile. She took it and laughed, stepping closer.

"Your friend told me I could find you in here." She tugged on the hem of her pleated skirt, flattening her hands against the sides.

"You were looking for me?" He asked, sounding oblivious. "Why?"

"I wanted to see how you were!" She exclaimed. "You just totally disappeared that night..." she looked away subconsciously. The long blonde hair on her head covered half her face now.

"Right, sorry about that. I just didn't really fit in there." That was true.

"Well, I liked talking to you."

"I liked talking to you too."

The room was pretty silent then.

"Damnit! Then why won't you ask me out?"

He stood back in shock, pushing his glasses up.

"You want me to?"

"Of course I do!" She laughed. "Boys are so clueless!"

He couldn't argue with that.

"Okay, well, can I at least get your number?"

Chanyeol was nervous... why was he so nervous? He never actually talked to girls, unless they were old enough to be his mother. He just didn't find girls his age to be as much fun as guys. Sehun and him hangout all the time, so he's never felt the need to date.

"Of course, c'mon." She grabbed his arm and led him out of the empty room. They passed down the hall as a bell rang. Kids stared at them as they passed; Chanyeol with his dyed messy hair and Joy with her cute uniform on. They stopped at her locker and were suddenly greeted by another girl.

"Hey, Joy!" This girl was the same one he always saw hanging around Baekhyun. She was grinning at him weirdly so he turned his face, scratching his neck uncomfortably.

"Hey, Yeri." She said politely, unlocking her locker.

"Are you guys dating?" Yeri asked, leaning on the lockers, giggling.

"No-"

"Yes." They answered at the same time. Joy looked up at him and frowned. "I was just about to give him something-"

"Yeri!" A boy yelled from the hallway. He jogged over to where they stood, clearly out of breath, and wearing a hanky around his head to keep the sweat off of his forehead. "Where have you been? I've been trying to find you-" he stopped mid-sentence, looking at Joy interlocking her arm with Chanyeol's. "Chanyeol?" He asked, his face paling at the sight of the boy still holding his secret. He cleared his throat. "How are you doing, buddy?"
