Chapter 7: Enter Yuki

Son got up in his Bankai form. His uniform was wrapped around him, but the back spreaded out like a cape. His sword had become ruby red, small, and thin. Ichigo smirked and said, "You did it. You've achived Bankai." Son looked down and felt the amazing power surging through him and he smirked. "I like it." He looked around and saw that Flareo was gone. "Meso... Flareo." Son said stating his Bankai name. He then transformed back to normal and smirked again. "I'm ready for tomarrow." Ichigo and Yourichi nodded smirking at him. Later that day when Son was walking along the path to home, he ran into the girl with dirty blond hair that helped him with the first exam. They both fell when they ran into eachother. Son quickly got up and held out a hand to help her up. She took it with a slight blush, and smiled at him. "Sorry about that..." He said. "It's fine, I should have watched where I was going haha." She said with a smile. Son got a look at her and saw she was wearing a long black kimono, with navy and silver linings and accents. She had stormy blue eyes and was short compared to him, only coming up to his chest. They were still holding hands and they both quickly pulled away a blush forming on both of their faces. "So um... I'm Son. Who are you?" He asked her. "Yuki Korishima of squad 12." She said. "Really? I'm of squad 12 too! Though, I've never seen you around the baracks before." "I'm new, only been here a few months. And, I don't go around the baracks that much." Son nodded understanding. "I was just about to head home to grab my training gear. Then go for a 30 mile run." He said to her. "May I join you?" She asked, and he nodded. They flash stepped to his room in the baracks, grabbed his training gear, which was a 80 ton backpack. He put it on, and ran out and started his 30 mile run, Yuki followed. "So are you excited about the exam tomarrow?" Son nodded "Yeah I can't wait!" Yuki smiled. "What seat are you going for?" she said. "1st seat." He said to her. "Cool! I'm going for 2nd seat." She said with a smile. He nodded smiling. They talked while running, not even using theirFlash Step, as neither of them was running low on stamina. Yuki explained how she was a human and died. Son said that he was also a human and was killed by a hollow. They talked about their life stories, and eventually ended up in front of Yuki's house.

Son looked at Yuki and smirked. So, wanna spar?" He asked her, and she just smiled nodding. "Just don't cry when you lose!" She said. He smirked and drew his zanpakto as she did the same. Hers was over sized like his but his was slightly smaller. He slashed at her while she swung her blade at him. Their blades clashed and they jumped back across the ground. He held out his Zanpakto and yelled, "Burn, Flareo!" The Zanpakto entered its released form. "Cosmori, act now!" Yuki yelled as her Zanpakto entered it's released form, and black hole wisps float off of the weapon. He charged at her and Flash Stepped as she swung at him with amazing speed. He was in the air and came down upon her. She blocked his attack with her own blade, making him back flip backwards. He smirked. "Your going down!" He said and raised his zanpankto. "An attack's power is stronger when you know it's name. Go Fire Slash!" Son yelled and swung his Zanpakto, sending a huge wave of fire at her. She was swallowed up in the flames, but survived the attack with minor burns. She smirked, "My turn." She said and raised her Zanpakto. "Cosmori, Metor Shower!" Metores rained down from the sky. Son smirked and flashe stepped across the ground and was at her neck, the blade of his zanpakto at her neck. "I win." He said as the metores landed and explosing behind them both. Son moved back and seathed his zanpakto. She did the same and smiled. "You got lucky. Next time I'll beat you!" She said with a giggle. "Wanna come over for dinner?" she asked him. "Sure." He said.

Yuki and Son walked to her house and entered. "Left overs, or make something new?" She asked him. "Lets make something new. Curry with raman and salmon sounds good." He said. "Sure, that sounds delicious!" She said with a smile. He got up and helped her cook and they talked some more. They started to throw food on each other, and started laughing have a fun time. Soon they were finished and sat down in the living room on the couch. She cuddled up to him and smiled. He put a arm around her and soon she fell asleep. He fell asleep a few minutes later after he kissed the top of her head.
