What is your most embarrassing moment?

Whenever I am faced with this question whether in autograph books or simply obliged by a turn of a bottle, I don't shy away. I can confidently answer this because I don't have one.

Now though, I'll have something to share and write on that section.

I pulled back and pursed my lips in embarrassment, inwardly cursing myself. I have never been on such edgy state.

In the company, I was always the prim and proper. The one who never break any rules. That stiff girl who follows protocols and come thirty minutes before anybody else. The feared Assistant Executive Manager who upholds a very strict work ethics.

So seeing me blush in front of these many people in the office is definitely chat-talk worthy.

Whispers, fingers tapping on phones, eager spectators and amused eyes surrounded me.

However, I am oblivious to most of these because there was only one pair of eyes I am drawn into.

"If I didn't know, I would think that you were prettying yourself up. Who might you be meeting?" He said while slowly stepping forward making me back away a little.

I can tell he is somehow enjoying this.

He easily stood out amongst the crowd of business suits.

He wore a white v-neck shirt, faded jeans and sneakers with a beanie on his head. He was underdressed compared to the people in the building yet still managed to be the most gorgeous specimen on the throng of gentlemen.

His handsome, confident demeanor like how he was the last time we talked sent shivers down my spine.

I have never felt vulnerable by the presence of any man but his.

Before I can talk, Paul chimes in behind me.

"Macy? I don't think I can join you to Victoria's Secret later."

"What?" Macy asks, looking confused.

"I think I won't have a need for any thong at the moment." Paul said seductively, biting his lips while looking straight at the lax gentleman in front of me.

"Shut up whore." Macy said rolling her eyes.

I cleared my throat to silence the two.

"I'm sorry, how rude of me. These are my friends, Paul and Macy."

I said trying to avoid his eyes.

"Guys this is my f-...my uhm..."

"Friend. Lucas Roscoe." He said saving me from the awkwardness and shaking hands with my ogling friends.

"I'm sorry about earlier. I was in between work and I didn't know it was you on the phone."

"It's okay, I expected as much. Sorry for suddenly coming. If now's not okay I can come back-"

"No, it's okay. I was going to go out for lunch anyway."

Pff. Lie.

"Yeah? That's great...'cause I think we need to talk."

He said it like I have no other choice so I simply nodded.

Before we could get inside the elevator though, I felt him pull me by the elbow making me slightly bump his chest. In a matter of second, his manly scent suffocated me.

He cupped my chin as my heart hammered the thin of my chest.

I then felt him wipe something below my lips.
