I'm not impulsive. I hate violence. I only fight my way because I'm competitive and I just discovered that it also goes the same for Lucas. I don't like it when someone looks at my man that way.

When Lucas mentioned her name, she took that as a sign to go run to him and embrace him in her arms like a wife who had been waiting for her husband to come home.

I would be lying if I didn't say I'm red with anger right now. Still, I always value acting in the most professional way because that's how I've always wanted to deal with everything, but of course there are some things that just won't go your way and if that happens now too, I don't know how long I can be professional.

"Millet."

Lucas held her by the shoulder and tried to face her but she clung tighter, her face pressed on his chest.

I emerged from the car, Lucas noticed me and gripped Millet's arms tighter to remove her from him.

I appreciate the action but that doesn't mean my anger will dissipate.

I purposely banged the door hard making Lucas and his annoying, slutty ex-girlfriend jolt in surprise and looked at me.

A deep frown formed on her face as she finally let go of him and instead propped her hand on his arm.

Lucas winced at me, he was about to say something but I cut him with a glare.

"Hi. I don't think we have been introduced." I said, smiling the hardest that I can to her.

I approached the both of them, "You are?" I asked.

Millet raised one brow before looking at me up and down.

"Millet Travejo, his girlfriend and you are?"

Girlfriend?!

My eyes went to Lucas who quickly tried to control the situation by clearing his throat and sliding Millet's hand from his arm.

She didn't budge and held on him tighter.

"Millet, look. I told you. You're my friend and that's why I was there for you. I hope you don't misunderstand that anymore. I already have-"

"No. Lucas, you don't have to deny it anymore. I understand. You can't let me be alone because maybe somehow, I'm still inside your heart." She said softly, placing one hand on Lucas' chest while completely ignoring me in the process.

Lucas ran his hand through his hair in frustration. I can almost feel his annoyance now but he pursed his lips as if to stretch his patience.

Fine! Let me handle this.

Before Lucas can speak, I chimed in.

"I'm sorry to break your 'romantic reunion' but I'm Kintana Foulke," I began and walked in between her and Lucas while she still held onto his hand.

I smiled, the bitch smile - if I ever have one.

"Lucas' fiancée." I finished.

She gaped in surprised and blinked rapidly, finding hard to process what I just said before her eyes went to my hand where the engagement ring was.

I took one more step towards her and tried to control my inner-screaming self.

"Now, I think you can get your hands off my fiancé." I hissed.

Her grasp went limp on his hand.

"That's not true." She told me before looking at Lucas, her eyes angry.
