First and foremost I want to apologize for the super late upload!

I was supposed to come home on Saturday but there was no transportation that time and I was supposed to jump into the first ship yesterday but my uncle didn't allow me because the weather was so bad. One ship almost drown with hundreds of people inside.

Now I'm back! But I want to apologize again because I was only able to type the special chapters tonight. I used notebook and pen to write at the island since I can't open the Wattpad App.

Don't worry. I will be uploading the spin-offs tomorrow!

Please bare with me!

Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy these.

I get nervous but I don't get stuck up in it this long. Usually, when I'm nervous and or panicking, I talk myself out of it. Thinking about the situation thoroughly and then coming up with ideas on how to solve it.

However, this is different. I've tried all of the things that usually calm my nerves down but nothing works.

This jittery feeling had started since yesterday and the more I wait to see him again, the more anxious I get. I heard this was normal on my state, still, I would gladly do anything to shake this off.

I don't need this now, not when I'm minutes away from giving a speech to hundreds of people.

I hastily grabbed my purse and checked if everything was already inside.

Cell phone. Invitation. Wallet.

That's it. That's all I need.

I looked at myself for the last time in the mirror. My hands were sweaty so I dried it off as I ironed my skirt with it.

Good. I look decent. Good decent.

I tried to force myself to think straight but I barely ever concentrated because of the nervousness that rose up inside me.

A call broke my reverie of thoughts.

"Hello?"

"Tana? Babe, are you here yet? We're about to start." Macy said, her voice rang with urgency and I can feel her panic.

I heaved a sigh as Macy's panicked voice made me jittier and dizzier with headache.

"Don't worry. I'm already here. I'm just at the ladies'." I said.

"Okay, then. Everything's ready here."

There was a little skip of the beat in my heart before I opened the door and traced my way back to the hall where a crowd has already gathered.

Most of the people we invited are already here.

I spotted Dave talking to a group of business associates. All of whom I recognized carry big names in the magazine and papers industry. Dave saw me and probably signaled for me to go to him, I don't really know because I avoided his eyes as fast as I can.

I don't think I can stomach a conversation with nothing a topic except business and all the things around it. I mean I know that this is a business party, organized by none other than my team but this is also a huge deal and I can't risk being distracted at a time like this. Especially when I'm feeling cranky and hating myself more and more as seconds pass.

I grabbed one glass of wine and stared at it for long. Battling whether to drink this or look for Macy and ask for updates.

I chose the latter so I handed it back to one waiter who passed in time as I slid back into the crowd to look for my best friend.
