If anyone can open the Chamber of Secrets by speaking Parseltongue, why didn’t someone else try to open it as they almost everyone had heard Harry speak it at the Dueling Club?

The first reason that no one would have done this is because no one knew where the Chamber was at the time it was active except for Ginny Weasley, and she was in a blanked out state at those times. Then even after Ginny was saved from the Chamber there were very few students who knew the location along with a handful of teachers and none of these people would disclose the location. Second of all, what Harry said to the snake at the dueling club was to leave Justin alone, to open the Chamber Harry needed to say open. Lastly, I don’t think any student would want to get in there because they would be too afraid of dying or being petrified, and only Harry and his friends would be willing to risk their lives in such a way; then in later years no one would think of it, as the danger had passed, we saw that many people didn’t even know about the Chamber being opened 50 years previously. In many ways I think even though Hogwarts students get into trouble, if our schools were suddenly Hogwarts, kids would be more cunning (Slytherin), and get into more trouble by thinking of logical ways to get around the system (Ravenclaw).
