What am I doing??? I just told Violet that I would stay with her after I turn 18. I don't think I can do that, I mean I love Violet more than anything in the whole entire world, but would I go to jail for her? Would I risk everything just for love? I'm just so confused, I just need ti talk to someone other than Violet.
"Violet I gotta go back home, my brother needs me it's an emergency" I lied.
"Is he ok, what happened? " Violet said concerningly. Man I hate lying to her.
" I don't know his friend texted me and told me to catch the next flight back home cause he's in the hospital."
"Omg, well hurry up and go Taylor"
"Are you sure babe?"
"Am I sure??? Taylor he's your brother just hurry up and get to the airport"
"Ok ok, I'm going I love you baby. Text you later." I said giving her a quick kiss on the lips.
I can't believe I just lied to her about something so serious. What the fuck is wrong with me?
-Later that day at my house-
"Hey bro, what are you doing back so early. Trouble in paradise." my brother Jacob said jokingly.
" Actually yes, yes I'm having major trouble and that's why I came back home so early. I needed your advice.
" What's going on Taylor? I'm all ears."
" Well you know how I've been dating Violet for a few years now."
"Yeah.."
" And you know how my birthday is in 2 days and I'll be 18."
" Taylor... what did you do bro??"
" Just listen" I said sharply.
" Ok, ok chill" he said.
" Well Violet is only 14 and when I turn 18 it will be so illegal for us to date, but I love her so much Jacob. I don't want to brake her heart, but I also don't want to ruin my future and go to jail either. And I'm .... just..... I'm just so hurt and confused man and I need your help." I said falling on the floor crying.
" Taylor get up right now and get your shit together" Jacob said in a pissed tone.
I got up quick and wiped the tears away fast because from the look in Jacob's eyes all hell was about to break loose.
" Now Taylor, why on this fucking earth would you be dating a 14 year old knowing that sooner or later it would be illegal. I swear man sometimes you're the stupidest person I know, you don't use your brain. And when you do it's for stupid doing stupid shit like this. I can't believe you got yourself into something so fucking stupid. And over some stupid girl too, there's millions of girls out there Taylor especially ones your age you should go and fine one that won't ruin your life like this one."
" HOLD THE FUCK UP Violet is not some stupid girl she is the best thing that has happened to since mom and dad died. She was there when I needed someone to talk to about mom and dad AND she helped me get through all the bullshit YOU put me through Jacob. So don't say she's just some stupid girl because she is NOT, she is my soul mate and I'm in love with her." I said yelling at the top of my lungs, with my face turning red.
" Well I don't give a fuck what she has done for you Taylor, that doesn't change that she could ruin your life. She is only 14 Taylor do you really think she loves you like you love her? "
" Yes, yes I do and I can't believe I lied to her just to come her and get your dumbass advice."
"Well I didn't get on my knees and beg you to come here Taylor."
" Whatever Jacob, I'm gone. Bye." I said feeling a tad bit hurt.
