Chapter 23

~Violet's POV~

We pulled into the parking lot of Ruth Chris steakhouse. Ruth Chris steakhouse is a very fancy restaurant. Once we were inside the waiter escorted us to our table. I started to feel underdressed because everyone was in really fancy dresses and here I was in normal clothes. I guess Taylor could sense how I feel because he looked at me with kind eyes and smiled. "Violet don't worry about everyone else. You look gorgeous and perfectly fine the way you are." He grabbed my hand and kisses the top of it. "Plus I look like a fool with a tux and a bandana on babe." We both laughed at he comment. Taylor and I ordered our food and just enjoyed our evening. We shared memories, jokes, and laughs. The night was perfect.

~Taylor's POV~

Violet and I were enjoying our evening having a wonderful night filled with memories, jokes, and laughs. I looked into Violet's beautiful brown eyes and just admired her beauty. I really love this girl more than anything in the world. She's just perfect. And that's why tonight I'm going to make her mine forever.
I look over at the pianist and winked at him, to signal him to start playing. Violet looked over at the pianist, because he was playing her favorite song; thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran. A big smile appeared on her face. Now it's time. I got up from the table and took Violet's hand, I led her to the stage.
"May I have everyone's attention? I have something to say." Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at us. Some even took out there phones and began recording. I turned my body to face Violet and I grabbed both of her hands. I gazed into her gorgeous eyes and she gazed into mine.

"What's going on Taylor?" She asked confused. I smiled and bent down on one knee.

"Violet, I remember the first day we met and how I made you feel better. And ever since that day I could not imagine a day without you in my life. You're strong and independent, you've went through a lot of things. Things no one should ever have to go through. You're beautiful baby personality and all. You go out of your way just to help others and I love that about you. I thank God each and every day for putting you in my life. Nobody has ever been able to put up with me except you and that's how I know you are the one. I love you so so much and I will never love another person the way I love you. Now Violet Marie Summers will you please be my wife." Violet had tears rushing down her cheeks.

"Yes, yes of course I will Tay." She manages to blurt out. I got up and gave Violet a big hug. She wrapped her hands around my neck, I wrapped my hands around her waist. Then I placed my lips onto hers. She kissed back and it felt like the best thing on earth. I slowly pulled away realizing I forgot something.

"I almost forgot something." I said and pulled out a big diamond ring.

"Omg Taylor it's gorgeous!" She screamed as I putter ring on her finger.

"Just like you baby." I said placing a light kiss on her cheek.
