Chapter 4

                                             * Violet POV*

I hope Taylor's brother is okay. If anything happened to Taylor's last closest family member I dont't know how he would react. He would probably go back to old habits. After sitting around the house bored out of my mind I called my best friend Aaron and asked him to come over. I waited for him outside, then i saw his car pull into the drive way. I ran up to Aaron, jumped on him and wrapped my arms and legs around him. He caught me and kissed my forehead.

" It's soo nice to see you" I say smiling while getting off of him.

" It's nice to see you too Violet. So.... What's up? How have you been?"

" I've been good. Taylor surprised me by coming over and trying to cook, but sadly he failed and burnt the food."

" Wow, you have a man that can't cook. You know I can cook for you" Aaron said laughing and smiling.

" I know you can that's why you're my bestest guy friend in the world."

Aaron and i laughed and talked for hours. I told him about the thing with me and Taylor and how he could go to jail because he's 18 and I'm only 14. Just saying that makes me feel like a little baby and him a grown adult. After talking and joking around with Aaron there was an unexpected knock at the door. I gave Aaron a scared look and he went and opened the door. I was hiding behind the couch like any smart person would do. Aaron opened the door then I heard a familiar voice.

" Who the fuck are you?" the familiar voice said.

" No, who the fuck are you?" Aaron said sharply.

" I'm Taylor, Violet's boyfriend" he said raising his voice a little.

" I'm Aaron, Violet's best friend" Aaron said.

"Nice to meet you" Taylor said.

" Same to you" Aaron said.

" Taylor why are you back so soon. Is everything alright with your brother? Was it someething seriouly wrong with him?" I said very concerningly. I walked up to Taylor and hugged him, I could feel his heart beating really fast, like he was nervous.

" That's why I came back baby, everything is not ok" he said looking sad.

" Your brother didn't.....ya know...did he?"

" Nooooo, my brother is very alive, an ass, but alive."

" Taylor Micheal Caniff!!!! How dare you say that about your brother he was in the hospital."

" Baby, that's what i need to talk to you about" he said looking at the ground.

" I'm just gonna go back home" Aaron said.

" No you can stay, go upstairs into my room and watch T.V." I said to Aaron. Aaron nodded and went up to my room

"Taylor, baby you can tell me anything I'm your girlfriend that loves you so much" I said looking at Taylor with loving eyes.

" Ok, baby please don't get mad at me, but I lied to you when I said my brother was in the hospital. The truth is I just wanted to go back home to him to seek advice about our situation. I love you sooo much baby. You mean the world to me. You're the most funny, smart and beautiful girl I've ever met and i could NOT picture life without you, but I don't know if I can risk going to jail for you. Wait, baby that came out wrong." He said trying to fix the situation.

" No it came out just how you wanted Taylor. Why didn't you just tell me that you needed to talk to your brother about this, I would of understood. I can't believe you would lie about something so fucking serious. I thought you wouldn't joke about something like that, since your parenets died, but i thought wrong. I'm just so hurt Taylor, not that you lied, but that you couldn't be man enough to tell me that you needed advice on our situation." I said angryly. Hiding the fact that I was more sad than angry.

" What do you mean that i couldn't be man enough. I was trying to be a man and take your feelings in consideration. You know good and god damn well that if you were in my shoes you wouldn't know what to do eitheir."

" Your're right I wouldn't know what to do, but I know that I would at least try and fight for our love instead of hurting the one I love" I said stepping a foot closer to Taylor.

" Violet, you just don't know the pressure I'm under. When I went and talked to my brother he was pissed to the max. I'm scared that if I stay with you then he will call the police on me." he said worried

" Well let him call we can fight for our love."

" You just don't get it do you Violet. I can go to jail. Jail can ruin my reputation. If my reputation is ruined I'm ruined." he said talking to me like I'm some dumb little kid.

" Well I guess Your stupid reputation is more important than me" I said walking away.

" Violet you just don't understand you're just a kid. You haven't been exposed to the real world yet.... Wait baby I didn't mean it." Taylor said.

I turned around fast and started walking very slowly towards Taylor with a ' What did you just say' look on my face.

" What do you mean I haven't been exposed to the real world yet. My parents freakin abandoned me Taylor. Your parents died, yes I know that's very hard to cope with, but at least your parents wanted to be around you and they loved you. My parents hated me and didn't have to think twice about abandoning me. I just came home one day and they weren't there. I was in denial that they abandoned me, but I finally faced the facts that they didn't want me anymore. I was so depressed and yet I stilled had to carry on with my life. I was in so much pain and I had my was of dealing with it; cutting and burning myself. I had to pay all the bills myself, but how I couldn't get a job, so I had to sell drugs Taylor, freaking drugs. Now if that's not exposure to the real world, well I don't know what is." I said strongly, tears rolling down my face.

Taylor just stood there in shock for a good 10 minutes then he finally opened his mouth.

" Baby, I had no idea that you had to become a drug dealer, just to stay alive." he said sympatheticly. I didn't want his damn sympathy.

" Yeah, well now you know and don't call me baby." I said looking at Taylor. I can't believe him. He just doesn't know the pain and suffering I have went through for him and he never will.

" Violet, I'm so sorry you had to go through all that, but I just can't risk my reputation."

" ARE YOU SHITTING ME TAYLOR????? ALL THE SHIT I WENT THROUGH AND YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT A FUCKING REPUTATION. GET OUT OF MY HOUSE." I said screaming at the top of my lungs.

" But baby" he said but I cut him off.

" GET OUT NOW. I CAN'T STAND YOU RIGHT NOW JUST GO" I said pushing him to the door. I slammed the door right in his face.

" But where am I going to stay? You're the only person I know in Virginia. Plus I spent the rest of my money on my flight here" He asked loud enough for me to hear through the door.

" I don't know and I definatly don't care right now."

" Will you care later?"

" NOPE"

" BABY!!!" he said begging.

" GOODBYE TAYLOR!"
